Capcom's Treasure-developed Gaist Crusher 3DS game, out this week in Japan, has a special collaboration with V Jump and Saikyou Jump magazines. The team-up resulted in a pair of enemies designed by none other Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda. Video after the jump.
UPDATE: It turns out it was Major Nelson who jumped the gun! According to his Twitter he made a mistake, and Guardian Heroes does not release tomorrow via XBLA. No further details available.
Though we suspected (read: hoped) this would be the case, it's been confirmed that the Xbox Live Arcade release of developer Treasure's classic side-scroller Guardian Heroes will indeed include the original Sega Saturn version of the game.
Guardian Heroes is one of those titles that always comes up whenever anyone mentions developer Treasure's loaded roster of classic games, from Gunstar Heroes (1993) on Sega Genesis to Sin and Punishment: Star Successor (2009) on Nintendo Wii. Originally released for Saturn in 1996, Sega is priming Guardian Heroes for rerelease on Xbox Live Arcade… albeit with a notoriously busted facelift.
