As the name suggests, ufotable CINEMA is a movie theater owned by famous anime studio Ufotable (Fate/Zero, The Garden of Sinners). The company opened it in Higashishinmachi Shopping Arcade, Tokushima-city, in March 2012. It is now the only movie theater in the city. Check the photo report after the jump.
In time for the Machi✩Asobi, held in anime studio ufotable's backyard of Tokushima City, Namco Bandai has posted their opening animation for God Eater 2. Takayuki Hirao (Kara no Kyokai) directs the sequence for the game hitting PS Vita and PSP in Japan on November 14th. Check it out after the jump.
No matter how cruel and gruesome the ending to Fate/zero was, it's great that ufotable keeps giving us fans the glimpse of how the show could be if their world was peaceful. The Machiasobi project, lead by ufotable CEO Kondou Hikaru to promote his home town of Tokushima with anime was successful at creating a special package of samples of 5 popular and established local sweets, with Fate/Zero characters gathered in a new family-friendly poster to promote it. Awa Odori (Dance) Festival is held from 12 to 15 August every year in Tokushima Prefecture, and with a branch, cafe and cinema in founder Hikaru Kondo's home town, anime studio ufotable has a history of getting into the spirit of the event.
