Back in 1998, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the original character designer for Evangelion and author of the main manga version of the series, designed the cover for English musician Eric Clapton's 13th studio album, Pilgrim. Kadokawa's Evangelion official site today revealed the cover illustration for the premium limited edition of the final/14th volume of Neon Genesis Evangelion manga series illustrated by the anime character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, with a new TV CM narrated by Kotono Mitsuishi. Kadokawa announced today on April 30 that the final/14th volume of the manga version of Neon Genesis Evangelion illustrated by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will be released in Japan on November 20, 2014. The manga finished its 18-year serialization last June. Check more information and TV CM after the jump.
We're approaching a point where it seems like wouldn't be that surprising if Hideaki Anno was cast as Grisha Yeager in the live-action Attack on Titan.
