North American manga publisher Yen Press had an extensive list of manga licenses to announce at this weekend's Sakura Con, highlighted by Izumi Tsubaki's Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun and Wataru Watanabe's Yowamushi Pedal, the latter of which will be released in two-in-one omnibus editions. On a netcast today, Good Smile Company previewed a selection of figure, the pre-orders for which will be launching soon. In the eyes of many fans, the highlight was a poseable figma of Kill La Kill's Satsuki. The figure, with alternate shout and smiling expressions, paper background students, Bakuzan-Gako, Bakuzan-Kouryu and matching part of Ryoko's scissor sword, goes on sale next week for 6,500 yen. Since October, anime distributor Discotek has been teasing big news on a sports license. This weekend, that news dropped. Yowamushi Pedal series 1 and series 2 Grande Road will be released on home video English subtitles. Along with this, they announced plans to released Lupin the 3rd Jigen's Gravestone on DVD and Blu Ray. This will be their first title to have a brand new English dub, included along with Japanese with English subtitles.
Sports anime fans have continued their tradition of going a bit nuts for character birthdays, and October 16th was a big one as two well liked supporting characters celebrate their big day - specifically Jin Tadokoro from Yowapeda and Kenma Kozume from Haikyuu!! Join the fun after the jump.

Leading into the October 6th premiere of Yowapeda: Grande Road, the cycling anime has previewed the designs for Hiroshima Kureminami Tech Bicycle club's ace sprinter Machimiya Eikichi. Tomokazu Seki (Fate's Gilgamesh) voices the "Fighting Dog of Kure," so nicknamed for his crouching style in which he bangs his chest off his bike's handlebars, leaving eye-like bruises.
