Good news anitwitter folks. Witch Craft Works posted a set of SD Twitter icons. Kill La Kill found a reason to post a new set of four. And, in honor of the 3/27 general release of the Yuyushiki "If you want to be happy, be" drama CD, the series site got up to 327 icons. Grab them after the jump.
While there's no sign of a follow-up to the spring 2013 anime, lately, there's been a little activity on the Yuyushiki front. The "If you want to be happy, be" drama CD from December's Comiket 85 will be made generally available on March 27th. Beyond that, the series site has posted a special illustration for Yuzuko's March 24th birthday. Get a look after the jump.
Sadly the Yuyushiki anime wraps up today, and the official @yuyushiki_anime Twitter feed is already feeling a bit nostalgic. The series is being sent off with an illustration of topless Yukari that it's been keeping under consideration. Well, technically, the outfit is described as a summer tomboy look. A second Yuyushiki Blu-ray and a fan book are out in Japan today. To promote the goodies, cast members Rumi Ookubo, Minami Tsuda and Risa Taneda presented their illustrations of their characters. Back on May 22, the official Twitter feed for the Yuyushiki schoolgirl comedy anime posted a picture of homeroom teacher "Mom" in a school uniform, along with the promise that they'd have sometime special when they reached 5,000 followers. Signs point to the anime Yuyushiki being well received in Japan as well as in English speaking territories. Still, I suspect that the official Twitter account might be jumping the gun a bit in making a big deal out of the four-panel comedy straight-person Yui Ichii's birthday.
