Ninja Slayer is a hit or miss.
Ninja Slayer's style is meant to be very hit or miss as is with other titles from Trigger. This either means you'll really hate it or really like it. This show is mainly a comedy show with some action. One of the main thing that is a turnoff for most people is this anime's unique art style. It is very scrappy, 2d, flash animation, almost lazily done with some bizarre colour combinations such as ...

    An absolute blast to watch
Ninja Slayer is over the top, intentionally cheesy, and super fun to watch. The show is half stills and half animated. This gives the show a low budget look, but the quality is all there. Good writing is complimented with clever use of stills. Fight scenes are animated but killing blows and certain action shots are made using stills, that when thrown in the right spot give a comedic affect. You ...

    A reasonable adaptation
When I heard that Ninja Slayer was going to be animated, I wondered how they would capture the charm of its intentionally terrible writing and pseudo translation. As it turns out, they decided to to so with intentionally bad animation. It's like a cheap and poorly made flash animation where each character only has a few frames. If you're familiar with the source material it's hilarious to see, ...

WARNING: Contains bondage SnM Eechi scenes and groping and a rape scene.
Ultraviolence is shown in a comedic way, but not as harsh as other shows since some stuff is
presented like the Inferno cop series.

  • More Ham, Cheese, and Pineapple than a Triple Extra Large Hawaiian Pizza
Clunky animation? Check. Hackneyed script? Check. Idiotic premise? Check. Nonsense plot? Check. And somehow, the show makes it all work just by how hilariously over-the-top it gets. If you have the fortitude to stick it out, it'll make you groan in a lot of good ways and a few bad ones.

    This is pathetically bad...
Ninja Slayer From Animation (Dear God, that's ACTUALLY the full title of this show?) is one of the worst series that I've ever seen in my life.

No I am not being hyperbolic. This series is an absolute embarrassment not only to Studio Trigger, but to the entire anime industry.

Imagine Inferno Cop minus everything that made it great and funny, and you get this show.

    Ninja Slayer is based ...

CR Why did you wast you money
This series can hardly be called animation and is something that could have been easily been produced by a junior high school animation club. With pan, zoom, rotation and mirroring of static images they give the illusion of animation, 1964's Astro Boy had more actual animation that this POS.

This along with Inferno Cop is shovelware animation at its worst (I still can not believe that Trigger ...
