Looks like a song can save someone Rat. Great anime, I truly cried when Safu started sing. This is why I love Japan. Only from there has a cartoon, well three made me cried.

Wow this ep (the whole series) is amazing! It goes so much deeper than superficial relationships or cliche tag lines. The complex characters, their development, & their reactions- with a hearty dose of action, romance and suspense. Love it!

When Nezumi was laying there beside Shion, crying and the music kicked in, that killed it. I started crying. And this shows rarely make me cry.

I made a fangirl squee at the end that startled the cat. I'm slightly embarrassed. Damn though, I wish there were more shows like this, where the main characters are complex people and the fact that they're both guys is secondary .

I'm not gonna lie, I really just wanted Nezumi hold Sion at the end while the soft music played and the screen faded to black. Not that the actual ending didn't rock my world or anything.

As a guy, the guy-on-guy stuff weirded me out, though I wouldn't quite classify it as 'gay'. Didn't keep me from enjoying the anime though, and it's an important dynamic in the story (even if I believe that kind of thing to be wrong).
