No. 6 is a story, kind of?
So, the good parts first. This anime feels polished and well put together, the animation is often quite smooth and although there are clearly scenes where the artists were pressed for time, or just got lazy, all and all I would still say it was better than average. The two main Characters, Nezumi and Shion are actually really interesting and likable guys. Their relationship is very well done and ...

a MUST SEE.....It will instantly become one of your favorites.....
It is based on a non so distant future, where humans have destroyed every living place, but 6 cities, where a "utopia" is been tried to create, but thanks to our human nature, we just create a false utopia. This is a place where if you don't agree we'll just shut you down by force, or you can run away and live outside of the city away from all those rules.

It will influence all the ...

  • No. 6 is a must see anime
Just wanted to add to the already large list of people that love this anime. It's a welcome break from the 70 percent or more 'slice of life' anime out there that I have become fond of.

If you are looking for something that is out of the ordinary, great story, great animation, great characters. This is a must watch for any true anime fan.

    Hope this review was helpful.

No. 6 is about a young boy who lives in a city where its all peaceful and everything but he soon comes to realise the truth that it's not as another guy comes to save him and gets him to know what's going on.

WOOT WOOT! No.6 is amazing :)
Well for starters the hype was 100% on point. Quite a few people had given me great reviews for this show so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. And man am I impressed. The story line was very unique and it kind of reminded me of Hunger Games with the different city-state/areas. The OP theme is very memorable, and the music was so good I've downloaded the opening song and added to my ...

A fast-paced and compelling short series
What a great find--a fast-paced and compelling short series that I wished had been just an episode or two longer, to wrap up all the storylines. I watched all 11 episodes over a period of three evenings, absolutely glued to the screen and staying up later than I should have on a work night.

No. 6 is set in a dystopian future where an unspecified series of wars have laid waste to most of ...

  • Killer bees and The city that really isn't what it seems
First thing i can say about the animation absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!after episode 3 everything has so much action and if your hoping for yaoi action it may seem this series is one but it is not. The ending was a bit rushed, but its is enough to get you caught up in the action. No. 6 is a story about two entirely different people at the beginning that somehow might each other. One lives in the ...

  • Overall thoughts of NO. 6
Overall I liked the show however I didn't like the story line. I was looking for a little more of a personal relationship between the two main characters. I liked the background music as well as listening to the boy actress and Safu sing. I however did not like the concept of a No.6 fake city environment. the murder of people for having different thoughts other than those that the city deemed ...

Tragedy and Humanity in No. 6
No. 6 is a visually stunning story that seamlessly encompasses multiple themes including totalitarianism, government-backed genocide and human testing, a heart-breaking love triangle, survivalist instinct versus humanitarianism, and a subtle pro-environmentalist agenda without being too preachy and overbearing.

How the creators of No. 6 man managed to pull this off is an impressive feat, in my ...
