  • Short but sweet.....
With it's 11 episode running time and the somewhat abrupt ending, it might seem a little short and rushed for some. In my own opinion, however, even with the lack of episodes this series still managed to hit all the major plot points while fleshing out the two main characters beautifully. In the 11 episodes given to you there is enough shown of each character that makes us laugh, cry and feel ...

  • trust between good friends
this anime was brilliant i just wished it lasted longer because it was very beautiful. All the yaoi haters out there listen up because they were not really gay lovers. It's just nezumi has extremely strong feelings for shion because he was treated so kindly before. and once you become really good friends i don't find it strange that he would have feelings for shion. But poor Safu i liked how she ...

  • Excellent if a bit rushed
The storyline is unforgettable with well-rounded, three-dimensional characters. Each character had their own quirks, personalities, and histories that really brought them to life. The plot itself was incredibly well done, but it felt rushed, especially near the end. I do wish they had spread out the ending over two episodes rather than cramming it all into one, but at the same time the ending ...

  • An easy watch, would recommend.
This series was pretty good. I liked to opening theme song a lot. It seem like one of the better sci-fi kinda anime that have come out in the past few years. The fake utopia theme is rare to see and it was well done in such a small amount of episodes. Spoilers ahead!

I feel like the two main characters had a really big impact on each others personalities. Shions views towards the end became ...

  • Great postapocalyptic drama
The adventures of forbidden friendship are always intriguing. No.6 was no less so. Though I am always hesitant of journeys where many characters have the potential to not make it out of the adventure I really enjoyed No.6.

  • it's worth the watch
the plot is a little confusing at first but in later episodes it clear up. i have a warning, if you can't handle animes with large amounts of death or violence then you shouldn't watch this. it's very dark through out the entire story line, but it is very interesting and grabs you in if you can handle it. the characters may not be lovable at first but as you watch more a few shine. the ending is ...

  • Intriguing but Convoluted
    Full Spoilers Ahead

At one point "Nezumi" tells "Shion" that he will soon have to either choose to save No. 6 or destroy it. To this, Shion offers a "third option": destroy the walls encircling No. 6. In doing this Shion hopes to reunite the people residing in the wastelands that is "West District" with the inhabitants of No. 6. For Shion, there are no differences between ...

  • No. 6: Not Just Your Ordinary Anime

No. 6, a short anime series based off of the original novel by Atsuko Asano is a beautiful story about strong bonds. This deep story revolves around the utopian society No. 6. It was the elite city built for the elite of the elite. The story’s main character’s name is Shion, an intelligent and innocent young boy. One night he meets Nezumi, a quick-witted wild boy. • No. 6. Shrug...Eh...
I felt a little disconcerted with this series, especially since its Bones. Felt like the series was too short. I wasn't really invested in the characters all that much, so when it came time to pull at my heart strings at the end I just felt...Eh...I think that more stuff needed to be explained and explored. The whole magical spirit thingy, it felt like they just pulled that out of their rear. Also ...
