  • Excellent if a bit rushed
The storyline is unforgettable with well-rounded, three-dimensional characters. Each character had their own quirks, personalities, and histories that really brought them to life. The plot itself was incredibly well done, but it felt rushed, especially near the end. I do wish they had spread out the ending over two episodes rather than cramming it all into one, but at the same time the ending ...

    Good but something's missing
Have you ever watched a movie and felt like parts were left on the cutting room floor or that you'd probably make out better watching the Director's Cut? That's the same feeling I am left with having just finished No. 6. It's well written and the animation is fantastic, but there's something missing. There are questions left unanswered and others not fully answered. And I could have done with ...

No. 6 is the best of BONES
No. 6 is the story of of two boys from different backgrounds that manage to become close friend even though their differences. This anime is based on a nine volume novel, only 11 episodes that were not enough to tell the story but still worth to watch.

  • An easy watch, would recommend.
This series was pretty good. I liked to opening theme song a lot. It seem like one of the better sci-fi kinda anime that have come out in the past few years. The fake utopia theme is rare to see and it was well done in such a small amount of episodes. Spoilers ahead!

I feel like the two main characters had a really big impact on each others personalities. Shions views towards the end became ...

  • Great postapocalyptic drama
The adventures of forbidden friendship are always intriguing. No.6 was no less so. Though I am always hesitant of journeys where many characters have the potential to not make it out of the adventure I really enjoyed No.6.

One of BONES' Best ANIMATED SERIES.
Overall, "No.6" was arguably one of BONES' best works. Great fluid animation, great character development, naturally flowing music, and all those other great qualities that BONES is famous for. However, since this series served as an 11-episode adaptation for a novel that is originally nine volumes long, there just wasn't enough substance in it. In other words, there were some loopholes and ...

  • it's worth the watch
the plot is a little confusing at first but in later episodes it clear up. i have a warning, if you can't handle animes with large amounts of death or violence then you shouldn't watch this. it's very dark through out the entire story line, but it is very interesting and grabs you in if you can handle it. the characters may not be lovable at first but as you watch more a few shine. the ending is ...

  • Intriguing but Convoluted
    Full Spoilers Ahead

At one point "Nezumi" tells "Shion" that he will soon have to either choose to save No. 6 or destroy it. To this, Shion offers a "third option": destroy the walls encircling No. 6. In doing this Shion hopes to reunite the people residing in the wastelands that is "West District" with the inhabitants of No. 6. For Shion, there are no differences between ...
