Each episode makes you want more! PLOT OVERVIEW! for those who havent watched No.6
No.6 is in a way a unique anime as it show how a utopia can't really exist without a little government conspiracy and secrets. It shows how the so called "utopia" keeps order by silencing the people who wish for a different life/question the government. In a way that it shows this is when Sion first meets Rat when he was young. Sion learns that Rat is a runaway prisoner being tracked by the ...

  • Amazing: Really worth watching
I usually don't find myself on series I've never heard of before, but boredom told me to look. I can say, I was not disappointed. The story is engaging and the animation only makes it better. There is a healthy mix of action without it being the focus. The story leaves you wanting more.

A real keeper. This one really makes you think.
i don't know what i love more about this series the anti-big brother agenda or the cold realistic feel. there is so much to learn from this series. definitely a must watch if you like a good story with your anime.

  • A beautiful and lovely must-see anime
In the start, I thought: Yeah, a future genre with smartass thingies but then Shion shows a wonder about the world he lives in when he meats Nezumi.

    short, but a real pleasure
this show has a lot of your standard dystopian themes but, really, dystopias have been done for ages so it's hard to do something truly ~original~ at this point. best you can do these days is try to put together elements in an interesting way and execute the story well, and i think no. 6 does a pretty decent job of that. the last episode is definitely rushed - the ending should have at least been ...

  • Compelling yet short
Complex with endearing characters. Dystopian theme is quirky, and intriguing. The story line/relationships develop naturally. Only issue: Parts of plot (the end) felt rushed, unclear, underdeveloped.

A Great Series Hindered Slightly by the 11-Episode Curse
I found out about No. 6 because of a recommendation I received based on the fact that I enjoyed an anime called Fractale—and it turns out the recommendation is more apt than I could have imagined. Basically, Fractale was a fantastic show that was extremely hindered by its short length. Similarly, No. 6 is a show that is held back (though not nearly as much as ...

    Great, but short, show
I agree with some of the reviewers, the show is hindered by the limited amount of time they can tell the story in. I feel like there could be more episodes exploring the background of Nezumi and Sion's mother and the founding of No. 6. Overall it is a bit tropy but one of the best shows I've watched in a while.

So much respect for this show
One of my favorite this about this show is Nezumi and Shion's relationship, they nailed it. This anime is a shounen-ai and unlike others' in the genre, there's actually development in their relationship and the whole show isn't just focused around it. Admittingly, I would have liked to see more episodes in order to see more into Nezumi's background because it leaves a lot to be desired and same ...
