Anime doesn't have to be about fan-service all the time!!
This was so good!!! No fanservice , no ecchi stuff, no blood, no violence. Everything was so cute and entertaining!! I loved it so much!! This shows that anime doesn't need to have violence in it to be good and entertaining -.-!!!

    The Quiet Country Life
Non Non Biyori focuses upon a group of students in a quiet country village, and quickly introduces the arrival of Ichijo Hotaru, a female transfer student from Tokyo. She becomes the fifth student at the village school, a mixed-grades class now with four girls and one boy. The first episode is pure slice-of-life, as slow-paced and relaxed as its setting. The humor is both ...

My stress-free anime of this fall
Relax and enjoy. For this kind of anime, I think it is okay for you to fall asleep for a while and watch it again as you like. Atmosphere, characters, wit, and music all fit together so that you can relax with nice slice-of-life anime on Monday nights. For me I have actually watched this a couple of more times, stress-free, while enjoying every bit of humor throughout the first episode. I will ...

    Too adorable to pass up!
My brother recommended this "slice-of-life" anime to me. Before this, I hadn't watched any from this genre.

I got hooked instantly! Super sweet, funny, endearing... and what I love most about this show is that, despite the cultural differences, I can relate my own childhood to these little girls. I was often the weird one that came up with crazy things to say, like my favorite of the girls, ...

    Every Episode Made Me Smile
Nice, easy-going story with engaging characters and a nice sense of humor. Like opening good-mood-in-a-box every time I watched; like the atmosphere of the series was somehow contagious.

Fun to watch, nice to look at. I hope there will be another season.

This is how we lived as little kids.
This is exactly how we lived as little kids. Constantly "faffing about" when left on our own.
This is a great anime to watch before bed. It is warm, happy and comfortable.

It is a good relaxing anime
The anime follows the lives of a small group of individuals, in a rural part of Japan. Due to the fact the town is so small there is only one school, where all grades attend school there. The story mainly focuses on the everyday lives of four girls. The oldest, Komori, the second oldest, Komari's younger sister, Natsumi, third Hotaru, and the youngest Renge. Each of the girls have unique ...
