Two of my favorite things combined!
My two favorite types of anime are idol and magical girl. This series takes the two formulas and combines them perfectly into one awesome experience. And on top of that, it's quite funny, the way it mocks some aspects of each formula. It definitely took me by surprise with how great it is. I definitely want more of it in my life!

    Relax with stupidly fun cliches!
You know, when you watch anime there're moments where you want to stop just because you are tired either for a good story that overwhelmed your head or a really bad one. Well, this happens to me very often and with this anime i can relax a little bit, im like "Oh dude my head's exploding, imma sleep right now ..." but then i say "Oh! There's other Komugi Episode today!" and i watch it and i ...

To be honest the story isnt there but its adorable
alright, this show is honestly bad...if you are looking for an indepth story that is. This anime is for those who just like to turn off our brains and enjoy the adorable moe antics of the characters. Its not the greatest moe series ive seen (K-ON takes that award) but it still puts a smile on my face none the less.

    There is potential here
It's not great, but it does have potential to be good so long as it continues to not take itself serious. It lacks two core elements that made the original OVA's so very good though. In the original, most the characters were lighter, happier versions of their dark and disturbed origins from Soul Taker, which gave a odd kind of depth to the comically absurd series. The first couple of the original ...

    First episode: EJECT EJECT EJECT
First, sarcasm and parody save this from 1 star. Take characters from a mediocre S-o-L, High School anime and throw in an even crappier magical 13 or 14 year old female character blend for 1 minute and pour down drain. Lifeless CG'ed character design, soft pastels and too much idol j-pop crap. Don't forget the unidentifiable mascot thingy.

    Simply, Silly Perfection
This series is a combination of hilarious tidbits and ridiculous situations that are sure to entertain if you are looking for a wild and good time. Great character design, even for the supporting characters, which draws you into the silliness. You will have a good time with this show, I guarantee it.

Slice of life, classic and campy Magical girl show.
So, this show is sort of like Sailor Moon, for boys. It has some light fan service in most episodes. It does not take itself seriously. It has a monster of the week vibe from shows of old. It reminds me of an old school mahou shoujo show done with modern animation. It adds an extra character or two to the mix to make it more interesting and stirs vigorously.

I find this show consistently ...

Because I can't give it zero stars
I typically wait til I have finished a show before I rate and review it. Call me odd that way but it just seems to be the more honest option and I'd rather not go back and eat a bunch of crow one way or another. So for me to decide to take this show to task after only, at the time of writing this, five episodes really must have decidedly rubbed me the wrong way. Before I go into why I will go ...
