came for the marshmallows, stayed for the hilarity
This is a hilarious comedy blending silly jokes, obsurdisms, and poking fun at typical anime tropes, with just a touch of sexual humor.

I generally find romantic comedies in anime to be very uninteresting because they can never seem to pick a direction. they're usually way too serious and way too silly at the same time. well if there are some romantic gems out there to be praised for a good ...

    As a fellow marshmallow lover..
I can guarantee that I would have the same reaction. I may not be voluptuous as the male lead, but when women offer me marshmallows seductively and try to steal a kiss while I grab for the bag, I go directly for the 'mallows and am not afraid to throw a headbutt.

"Ojisan, are you free tonight? *sexy look*"
"That depends on whether you put one of those bags back or not."

As someone who shares Wakabayashi's penchent for plush men...
    (Written four episodes in.)

Let me tell you, it's hard to find shows in any medium where someone fawns over a hefty guy without it being played as a joke. The rare times when it does happen, we're usually supposed to laugh at the absurdity in them finding a fat person attractive.

There's plenty of humor in Wakabayashi and Hige's dynamic, sure, but it comes from the contrast of Hige's ...

    Sweet tooth for comedy.
What we have here is a good comedy short coming in at a fluffy 3.5 marshmallow minutes. It's good for a laugh to lighten the mood after some of the more serious shows of the season.

Take one dense guy that loves marshmallows, but is afraid to touch his female co-worker. Add female co-worker with a serious attraction to the dense guy, then spice it up with an aggressive attitude and plenty of ...

    it's an anime marshmallow
Short and silly, all kinds of amusing situations and great characters, this is well worth your time to check out. 3 minutes an episode makes it go by really fast, and there's even MARSHMALLOW RECIPES at the end of some of the episodes.

The characters and situations are silly and fun, so its a nice pick me up after some of the more serious shows or a rough day.

I really like the short ...

An awkward, yet pleasing short story
The old workplace rom-com routine. This short story is about an oddball workplace romance (sort of). It has witty humor and a touch of romance, but can also be crude. The lines are clever and voice acting solid. Characters are decent considering the short amount of time we get to know them, but can definitely come off as generic or plain. I give it a 6.9/10

    TLDR Version: Funny, strange ...

Funny short series to kill time
I actually really enjoy this series. I am not generally a fan of the shorts, even the comedy ones, but this one is just fun. I enjoy the characters and the basis around marshmallows and the animation style suits it well. The show gets right to the point, since its a short and all but has good enough substance to be more than JUST a comedy series. All in all, giving the first two episodes at least ...

Short, lovely and nice. definitely worth the watch
    [only episode one review]
A lovely start to what looks like a good show. Very funny, and very adorable, and with an only 3.5 minute episode, so there's no reason to not give this a chance!
This show has the potential of brightening up people's day in only a few minutes

  • What a strange concept
I watched this after finishing some more dramatic shows, and I must say...I was not expecting this. A woman is desperately in love with a man that can't grasp the fact that she's attracted to him, so she proceeds to try and seduce him using her surprisingly aggressive innuendos, her charm, and...marshmallows. A lot of marshmallows. There are, of course, some twists and turns, but this was ...

  • Super Marshmallow Love!
As a fellow lover of Marshmallows, I can appreciate the feelings. I'm not quite sure, I am as devoted - but I do enjoy eating them!

I really enjoyed this anime. I would love to see more of it. The characters were so cute, and I just loved the soft colors. Everything fit very well
