i think he only awaken because he needed to save her from the darkness and after she had killed the bad guy he felt he didnt need them anymore so they went back to sleep. and plus he didnt want to lose himari cause he is in love with her

The Manga is still on-going and well if the Anime continues to sell than its possible we can get the latest chapters of the Manga into another season hopefully so support the industry freeloaders.
