  • It's Fifty First dates but with Anime!
It's a cute story about a boy who gets a girl to be is friend again every single day. Her memory only lasts for a week so at the start of the week they start again. The art style is cute and soft colors to match the theme of the show. I really have enjoyed watching and hope for another season.

  • Great show if you can handle the pacing and the male lead
Let's start with the good parts: This show has a very interesting, unique premise which is handled with much sensitivity and care. While the plot does not rush anywhere, it does get somewhere little by little, and the season can easily stand on its own as a self-contained entity, even if the manga is only ending now in Japan, so there should be plenty of material for a second season. All ...

  • The title of this anime is what drew me in...
The title and the description is what drew me in and after watching the first few episodes it started to remind me a bit of the American movie "50 First Dates" with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. :-)

That said the story is still beautifully done! It's a great story of a friend's devotion and patience. You can't help but to root for Yuki and Kaori - Yuki probably more so! :-)

    I love the ...

  • I'll give it three stars.
It's not bad at all, It's very frustrating at first but then you start to feel that anyone would of done the same if they liked someone so much. The downside of this (Well for me , that is..) That he had so many chances to make her his girlfriend but he just panicked a lot.

It's cute, funny at some parts and sometimes deep.

A romance you can watch without a lot of fan service.
The series took a very sweet and innocent style to a romance. Throughout watching this I didn't feel bombarded by boobs and ass, and it was really nice seeing a series take a romance at a slower and more innocent pace. Definitely a series I'd recommend to a friend and definitely would watch again. 10/10

    Heartwarming Story about Friendship
It's a Slice of Life anime with a twist on memory. One Week Friends delves into what friendship is and its various aspects beautifully with its beautiful art style and poignant story telling. The characters have wonderful chemistry together and enhance the series. There are certain romantic undertones, but the show veers towards its theme of friendship for the majority. All in all, a simple story, ...

    A sweet and lovely story
The art is beautiful and the story is endearing.
If you like sweet romances and the preview art, then I would advise watching this.
The story is pretty simple, but it's worthwhile. If you can take a slow unfolding, go for it. If you get easily bored, this is probably not for you.

  • Interesting slice of life anime
This was an interesting anime with a rather unique plot. Yes there are some romance elements in it, but as most people mentioned it is more a slice of life than romance.

What really impressed me about this show is that the "condition" was somewhat believable, and not just some mysterious unnamed disease. Definitely worth a watch if you are into this genre.

Decent Slice of Life - Don't expect too much in the Romance category.
I read some online reviews before watching this series and it was commonly classified as a Romance(not on Crunchyroll though). While it did have elements of romance in it, I would definitely lean more towards calling this a High School/Slice of Life show. I was expecting one thing but delivered something else which did cause a little disappointment Some of this may be my fault for not confirming ...
