  • Can you be my friend? The answer is No!
"Um, if you don't mind, I'd... I'd like for us to be friends!" - Yuuki Hase

A pure and innocent story of how Yuuki Hase's journey of asking his crush to be his friend started. However, the answer you get will be a surprise. But why? Well, why don't you watch it to find out.

Surely, you also won't be disappointed by the side characters either. This is a very cute, ...

  • For Use After Depressing Anime
Did you just finish an anime/manga/light novel series? Was it a rough ride? Perhaps it was the manga Nozoki Ana, which kicked you in the feels every other issue, or the anime School Days, which made you feel like a horrible human being. No matter what dark ending you've seen, this is the cure.

Looking at the premise, a high school girl forgets her happiest memories every week, it's easy to see ...

  • Realistic take on an interesting concept
This is a gentle and sweet show. The pacing is comfortable, if a bit slow, the art is understated and cute. It's romantic without fanservice or ecchi. The characters are flawed enough to be realistic.

Kaori forgets her friends every week, so she's reluctant to get close to anyone. Yuki wants to be her friend (and possibly more?) so he goes out of his way to try and reach her despite her amnesia ...

  • Finally a perfect anime series!
I've been on the lookout for a great slice of life anime and I have finally found one. The characters, story, dialogue, soundtrack, animation style, everything was just flawless. This one will stay with your memory for a long long time. Would recommend!

  • pulls at your heart strings because of it's innocence and events
It may seem like a simple and regular anime at first but from the first episode it pulls you in. I shed a few tears after watching only 1 ep and i just couldn't stop watching. It keeps you on your seat and though it's only centered around school which may seem boring to some people because of overused scenes, this anime gives those scenes a new light and gives you a different outlook of life. ...

  • Good characters and good plot
I watched this a little while back, I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting, and the plot is good. A solid anime.

The story of a girl with psychosomatic amnesia due to trauma is interesting. Add a kind, and zealous young suitor and it makes for a good show.

  • Very Cute and relaxing <3
One Week Friends is a very calm and cute anime (there are some drama spikes, but that happens). The characters feel very real and watching them grow closer together is really rewarding. It's relaxing to watch the characters go through their daily lives at school and home and has a very nostalgic feeling.

  • A cute diversion with little progress.
One Week Friends is a soft, feels train riddled, slice of life anime that struggles to make any meaningful progress beyond the initial concept. Kaori, the female lead, is afflicted with a unique form of amnesia that resets her memories each Sunday - leading her to give up on meeting new people/friends. Our male lead however seems stuck on never going beyond his "let's be friends" schtick, even ...

  • Another Cute Romance/Slice of Life
    General Thoughts
This short series Rom/SOL will have you smiling, sad, and agitated that there is only 12 episodes! I really enjoyed the pace of the series, and the exploration of the heroine's problem. The ending was particularly refreshing, shifting away from a typical ending that you figure is coming up. Animation in this series is solid as well; dazzling sunsets, beautiful night ...

  • A nice change of pace
A slow paced, but enjoyable anime; definitely not for anyone wanting a quick pace. It leaves you feeling very warm and happy; a must watch for slice of life lovers. This is a great anime to watch if you need to calm down.
The story is simple, but interesting, making you want to keep watching to the very end. It got me laughing and crying! Deserves a lot more attention that it's getting right now!
