  • Another Cute Romance/Slice of Life
    General Thoughts
This short series Rom/SOL will have you smiling, sad, and agitated that there is only 12 episodes! I really enjoyed the pace of the series, and the exploration of the heroine's problem. The ending was particularly refreshing, shifting away from a typical ending that you figure is coming up. Animation in this series is solid as well; dazzling sunsets, beautiful night ...

  • A nice change of pace
A slow paced, but enjoyable anime; definitely not for anyone wanting a quick pace. It leaves you feeling very warm and happy; a must watch for slice of life lovers. This is a great anime to watch if you need to calm down.
The story is simple, but interesting, making you want to keep watching to the very end. It got me laughing and crying! Deserves a lot more attention that it's getting right now!

  • Review for One Week Friends
One Week Friends is a heartwarming and lovable show that showcases the kindness of the human heart when Yuki Hase, a high school boy, takes it upon himself to befriend a distant and introverted classmate, Kaori Fujiyama, who, due to some traumatic event, is unable to remember her friends or what she did with them for more than one week.

A must see if your a sucker for slice of life!
I loved this anime. I loved the art and how the plot progressed. I was shocked that nothing more become of the relationship but you will have to watch in order to see why. Everything about this anime was just adorable and it keeps you wanting to watch more. You can watch this all in a day. I did it in two since I started watching it around 10:58pm two days ago. I didn't remove it from my quene ...

    "One Week Friends" speechless
To be as brutally honest as humanely possible, this anime is one of the greatest, cutest, saddest & heart warming animes I have ever had the privilege of watching & is one of the best stories ever told.
i cannot appropriately convey it in words......

  • One slice of cheese please!
I, like another reviewer stated before, was intrigued by the title. I'm a sucker for slice of life anime and this hit the spot albeit being slow at times. The build up of relationships between the characters is nicely done and you feel for the lead male Yuki; especially when setbacks occur with Kaori's memory.

I liked how all the friends seemed to have personality types at extreme ends of the ...

  • It's Fifty First dates but with Anime!
It's a cute story about a boy who gets a girl to be is friend again every single day. Her memory only lasts for a week so at the start of the week they start again. The art style is cute and soft colors to match the theme of the show. I really have enjoyed watching and hope for another season.

Great show if you can handle the pacing and the male lead
Let's start with the good parts: This show has a very interesting, unique premise which is handled with much sensitivity and care. While the plot does not rush anywhere, it does get somewhere little by little, and the season can easily stand on its own as a self-contained entity, even if the manga is only ending now in Japan, so there should be plenty of material for a second season. All ...

  • The title of this anime is what drew me in...
The title and the description is what drew me in and after watching the first few episodes it started to remind me a bit of the American movie "50 First Dates" with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. :-)

That said the story is still beautifully done! It's a great story of a friend's devotion and patience. You can't help but to root for Yuki and Kaori - Yuki probably more so! :-)

    I love the ...
