A fun show, with an ending that is Disappointment Incarnate
I checked out Oreimo on a whim. I wanted a lighthearted anime to watch over a short break and I had read some interesting things about Oreimo so I watched the first episode. I was charmed. The soundtrack, the fluid animation, the voice acting was great. After the third episode, I knew I was hooked.

I won't make any claims that this show is anything greater than what it is. It is a simple drama ...

    My Review on Oreimo <3
I use to watch anime casually, like 1 episode a day casual, took me 2 weeks to watch Angel Beats that's how casual I was. Until I was just sitting around doing nothing, looking for something to watch, heard about Oreimo so I decided to watch the first episode to see what I thought, I ended up watching all of season 1 in 1 day, it was the first anime that made me want to keep on watching it. After ...

  • My irritation at the characters overcomes my initial positive reaction to the show
The show seemed to have a good plot- brother and sister reconnect and begin to become closer. This is not really the case. The brother (protagonist) tries to help his sister out and is kinder to her, however, the sister is nothing but spoiled, rude, and an overall brat. I could only watch up to episode 5 before becoming fed up with her. My irritation over her actually made me stop wanting to watch ...

  • MUST WATCH, very funny and kawaii
very funny until the end, please if you plan on watching this entire series, after each season watch the OVAs or whatever they are called because for some reason they are not on crunchyroll and it really messes up the story as a whole. recommend this anime so much.

Pretty good, save for the ending
A lot of other reviewers have already mentioned the awful ending, so I'm not really saying anything new. I just felt like I had to vent somehow after finishing the series. I'll keep it brief.

I had a lot of fun watching Oreimo. I really grew to appreciate all of the characters, especially Kuroneko and even the bratty Kirino. The banter between Kyousuke and his friends made me laugh ...

  • Don`t judge me, Read my name
I thought it was really good from start to practically finish, the ending was a little bit disappointing especially with the OVA`s but I didn`t mind it, It may be borderline or maybe even full on incest of how you look at it. I didn`t think that it was really considered to be incest I just thought that it was a funny quirky show that can be watched again but not to be over done. I liked the ...

  • Probably a good one for you sis-cons out there.
Slice of life highschool anime about a brother helping his sister to avoid becoming a closet otaku, and then helping her new/old friends in various ways. It was slightly a harem anime, but went out of its way to have a romance between the two siblings - sort of.

It turned out okay, but the ending was a little sloppy. It kicked the score down a notch. An enjoyable series, not as funny as ...

Do NOT watch. It's not good
Boring piece of crap anime about a girl obsessed with incest hentai games who has to find friends with the same interest......that's it....that is the whole plot. Oh....and she has a brother complex.....who would've guessed right? A lot of people like this show and I want to know why...

Like Skyrim with hentai games -Reggie Fils-Miyamoto

A great journey, with a crappy destination.
Well, what can I say about Oreimo that hasn't been really said a thousand times, eh?

Oreimo is the story of Kyousuke Kousaka, a 17 year old high school student who doesn't get along with his younger sister, Kirino, ever since they were kids. They both never really acknowledged each other's presence and actually ignored each other as much as possible. It seemed like their relationship would stay ...

  • Despite the ending, I loved this show.
The characters were great. They draw you in fast and connect you to their world. The ending was a little flat, but I think it was a good choice. Some people see the ending as closed and concrete, I believe it was pretty open at the end. Things happened and they can't go back, but they CAN still go forward. The characters are the major selling point to this show, for me at least and they were ...
