A fun show, with an ending that is Disappointment Incarnate
I checked out Oreimo on a whim. I wanted a lighthearted anime to watch over a short break and I had read some interesting things about Oreimo so I watched the first episode. I was charmed. The soundtrack, the fluid animation, the voice acting was great. After the third episode, I knew I was hooked.

I won't make any claims that this show is anything greater than what it is. It is a simple drama ...

    My Review on Oreimo <3
I use to watch anime casually, like 1 episode a day casual, took me 2 weeks to watch Angel Beats that's how casual I was. Until I was just sitting around doing nothing, looking for something to watch, heard about Oreimo so I decided to watch the first episode to see what I thought, I ended up watching all of season 1 in 1 day, it was the first anime that made me want to keep on watching it. After ...

  • Do NOT watch. It's not good
Boring piece of crap anime about a girl obsessed with incest hentai games who has to find friends with the same interest......that's it....that is the whole plot. Oh....and she has a brother complex.....who would've guessed right? A lot of people like this show and I want to know why...

Like Skyrim with hentai games -Reggie Fils-Miyamoto

  • A great journey, with a crappy destination.
Well, what can I say about Oreimo that hasn't been really said a thousand times, eh?

Oreimo is the story of Kyousuke Kousaka, a 17 year old high school student who doesn't get along with his younger sister, Kirino, ever since they were kids. They both never really acknowledged each other's presence and actually ignored each other as much as possible. It seemed like their relationship would stay ...

  • Despite the ending, I loved this show.
The characters were great. They draw you in fast and connect you to their world. The ending was a little flat, but I think it was a good choice. Some people see the ending as closed and concrete, I believe it was pretty open at the end. Things happened and they can't go back, but they CAN still go forward. The characters are the major selling point to this show, for me at least and they were ...

  • This show, this show, :l
It WAS fun to begin wit, but I hate how they ended this. I just hate it guts and all. There is no way they should have ended this show like this. I was like if you're going to go the incest route, sure, fine, but actually GO THROUGH with it instead of having some wimp out ending where they say yep, all that hardship we had you go through so you could be happy with your win-cest? ...

  • Weird but good so get over it
In particular this like many others of it genre are based upon an akward brother sister love this anime was still great to me and even though it might have had a weird turn out between kirino and her brother if you continued after season one into season 2 you know what kinda of weird plot you are getting into so oreimo gets 4 stars from me

    Oreimo complete review
Now I liked the first season. It was okay until the second season then things get weird.
I'm not to nit pick relationships, but when it's family that's just lazy. And for all the girls that did like this dunce, I felt sorry for them. This where I say the relationship between brother and sister should have stayed strained. SPOILER ALERT

    "Feelings for you", growing up.
This is a story about 2 people that hate each other on the surface. over time you learn that it wasn't always that way. By trying to experience those feelings from the past and holding at heart. they push every one away just to reach a conclusion of a happy ending.

Now for all you people that just started watching this and for those who have only watched Oreimo on Crunchyroll. I tell you this, ...

  • Very entertaining, glad I watched!
Ok, so I got sucked into another romcom, but I enjoyed every last minute... except for the last 20 or so, more on that later. The character animation is a bit simple and the backgrounds while good weren't eye popping, however I do love the look of Akiba no matter how basic. The character development and story line are what really makes this series shine, the subtle diversities and individuality of ...
