A fun show, with an ending that is Disappointment Incarnate
I checked out Oreimo on a whim. I wanted a lighthearted anime to watch over a short break and I had read some interesting things about Oreimo so I watched the first episode. I was charmed. The soundtrack, the fluid animation, the voice acting was great. After the third episode, I knew I was hooked.

I won't make any claims that this show is anything greater than what it is. It is a simple drama ...

    My Review on Oreimo <3
I use to watch anime casually, like 1 episode a day casual, took me 2 weeks to watch Angel Beats that's how casual I was. Until I was just sitting around doing nothing, looking for something to watch, heard about Oreimo so I decided to watch the first episode to see what I thought, I ended up watching all of season 1 in 1 day, it was the first anime that made me want to keep on watching it. After ...

If it weren't for the OVA ending, this would've been 5 stars
Do yourself a favor and don't watch the three OVA episodes that follow the final episode of season 2. Those last three episodes completely ruined this series for me, as they destroyed all of the meaning and progression that had been made up until that point. This series could have been a great one with a mediocre ending, but that turned it into a great series ruined by it's ending.

    It's too bad ...

A gem of an anime that ultimately destroys itself in the end.
The first two seasons of Oreimo are anime gold as far as I'm concerned. They're laugh-out-loud funny, they have amazing characters, and they have a super-engaging overarching plot. However, the finale, which is meant to bring closure to the show and its characters, does nothing of the sort. Much like Kashimashi before it, Oreimo builds up a deep story and then manages to shatter it within the ...

Pretty good, save for the ending
A lot of other reviewers have already mentioned the awful ending, so I'm not really saying anything new. I just felt like I had to vent somehow after finishing the series. I'll keep it brief.

I had a lot of fun watching Oreimo. I really grew to appreciate all of the characters, especially Kuroneko and even the bratty Kirino. The banter between Kyousuke and his friends made me laugh ...

Season 2 plus complaints about season 1
I like season 2 so far, it's doing a pretty good job following up on the first season, my only complaint is that Crunchyroll is missing about 4 episodes from the first season that if you haven't seen you won't understand the first episode of season 2, luckily I saw those 4 episodes on another site.

    So....How about Oreimo 2?
I wrote a review earlier for Oreimo, but what happened there? No clue. It just erased the text. So I'll just throw in everything and pay no mind to well-written paragraphs, because I will sit here for another hour, frustrated, if I just happen to do that.

However, I did notice something very important; a drop in ratings. From 4.8, as I've seen previously when observing the ratings, to 4.6. Is ...

A great journey, with a crappy destination.
Well, what can I say about Oreimo that hasn't been really said a thousand times, eh?

Oreimo is the story of Kyousuke Kousaka, a 17 year old high school student who doesn't get along with his younger sister, Kirino, ever since they were kids. They both never really acknowledged each other's presence and actually ignored each other as much as possible. It seemed like their relationship would stay ...

    Oreimo complete review
Now I liked the first season. It was okay until the second season then things get weird.
I'm not to nit pick relationships, but when it's family that's just lazy. And for all the girls that did like this dunce, I felt sorry for them. This where I say the relationship between brother and sister should have stayed strained. SPOILER ALERT

Amazing story.. But the ending was to rushed..
The spoiler section doesn't reveal to much but if you're planning on watching Oreimo, then it's obviously just for the people who have watched the anime. (However, I do say that if you haven't seen it, then it is a must-see)

From the beginning the anime is pretty straightforward with you. It starts off with you learning about a broken relationship with a brother and his sister. For reasons that ...
