An energetic and sweet romantic comedy that isn't afraid to take on taboo subjects.
Oreimo is about a brother helping out his little sister and their various misadventures together. Kirino is her name, she is a perfect student, a track star, a model, and a closet otaku with a passion for little sister eroge. Kyousuke, the brother, is a fairly normal high school senior who wants to live a normal life.

I thoroughly enjoyed the humor in the show, A lot of it is derived from the ...

Really good first season but it falls short in the last OVA
Oreimo being the first anime of this type that I have watched, I must say it was pretty good. The show itself is quite popular and in my opinion it is very comedic but can be very serious when it needs to.

I feel as the story continued into the second season it became a lot better, because of how much the other characters started becoming involved in the story.

  • Who knew it would be like this?
Okay, I know, I know. People think the title says it all, but It doesn't really. It threw me and my brother off for a little while before I didn't care and got immersed in it. I didn't think it was going to make me have the feels, or be dramatic, or have a lot of romance. I usually research about anime before I watch them, but it was too funny and sweet to care. I love Kirino's tsundere-ness even ...

  • Oreimo is just one of those anime's that pull you in....
The One X 07 Again bringing you a review of Oreimo!

Now, finding this series was complete chance for me, just looking to see what i would like, just blundering around i stumbled onto Oreimo, a slice of life comedy harem anime under the guidance of Aniplex.

At first glance i was thinking well here we go, a typical brother and sister relationship, the bratty sibling always starting fights with ...

dull repetitive and no good story plot
    and it's creepy.
i watched the episodes skipped here and there due to the boringness.........
it isnt funny in a way, like there was no comedy at all in the anime.
the characters arent interesting except the guy protagonist.

    You should watch this anime.
I liked this anime and I do recommend people to watch this. I watched all of season 1 and 2 and yes I watched the ova (the one everyone keeps complaining about). Crunchyroll doesn't have it anymore so I had to look else where for it. Sure they could've gone a different direction with it, but come on people "My little sister...." you knew what you guys were getting yourselves ...

Despite the OVA's, this Anime is a classic
Oreimo was the reason I started watching anime more heavily, it got me interested in Japanese and otaku culture (I'm not an otaku but, I appreciate the culture). The characters are all memorable and have their own quirks that make them unique and funny, the story is good and has a nice pace. The jokes will have you cracking up constantly and the acting in this show is second to none, all ...

A Great Anime With Such a Disappointing Ending
This anime is something that you should not like it, but however it's something that it will reel you in because for some reason the show just seems really interesting to watch. Here we got two main characters (Brother: Kyousuke, Sister: Kirino) who hates each other with a passion, they never got along. Until Kirino shows her biggest secret to her brother Kyousuke. She asked him to help her out on ...

    New Rule of Endings!
There use to be three ways you can end a romance/harem anime. Good ending, Bad ending, and School Days ending. Now with the ending of oreimo there is a fourth ending the oreimo ending.

I am not going to go into to much detail on the ova's, but i ...

  • OreImo is a great ride.
OreImo showcases the twists and turns Kyousuke Kousaka's life takes upon finding out his little sister, Kirino happens to be a closet otaku with a preference for little sister eroge.

Filled with comedy and a boatload of heartwarming moments, OreImo is a fantastic slice of life adventure that is both fun and touching. It's hard to keep from grinning as Kyousuke is forced to deal with Kirino's ...
