  • OreImo is a great ride.
OreImo showcases the twists and turns Kyousuke Kousaka's life takes upon finding out his little sister, Kirino happens to be a closet otaku with a preference for little sister eroge.

Filled with comedy and a boatload of heartwarming moments, OreImo is a fantastic slice of life adventure that is both fun and touching. It's hard to keep from grinning as Kyousuke is forced to deal with Kirino's ...

Loved Season 1. Liked Season 2
S1 was great as a slice of life comedy that loved to poke fun at otaku. The characters became well defined with lots of potential. Plenty of LOLs while watching.
In S2 I enjoyed the character development, but had trouble with the relationship decisions Kyosuke made. The show does redeem itself a bit at the VERY end, and undoes some of the previous damage.

Dont watch the ova or the 2nd to last episode.
Honestly, i really liked this anime until the 2nd to last episode of season 2 came out.
plot wise, its pretty much about a brother and sister who had a pretty crappy relationship, the brother finds out his sister is an otaku, and pretty much does what he can to support her and you can see their relationship as a brother and sister being healed, repaired, and getting better. When that was going ...

Like the Titanic, worth the trip until....
I saw the two seasons of Oreimo in two days. I was really hooked on it. It was a roller coaster with all of its serious, emotional moments as well as it's awesome comedy sprinkled in the mix. I even saw the "other" final episodes for both seasons that Crunchroll didn't include. I saw them all except the very..last..one for season 2. Without getting into spoilers, that final arc went off the beaten ...

  • 4 stars for first season, 2 for second one
I liked the first season of Oreimo really much. Slice of life, comedy... and really interesting character setting...! Girl who seems to be good in everything has a secret hobby which is generally considered bad in society. The characters are really funny and special in this serie.
But then this season 2. I had high hopes of it, but sadly I must say I'm disappointed. The plot of oreimo 2 is ...

I wish I never watched this...
This anime was absolutely amazing in my opinion. It's funny, witty, lot of drama, Little bit of romance and a character cast that will stay with you forever. This anime had me in nothing but tears of laughter all the way through season one and near the end of season two. During the final episodes of this anime, I felt it was the most depressing show I have ever watched (even more so than Angel ...

    Captivating & fascinating (ಠ_ಠ)
    Oreimo 2
Very unique story line, excellent character development, some scenes are heart stopping as it would end off making you completely mind blown, very humorous and cheerful atmosphere, awesome chemistry between the characters & great artwork, an anime that really stands outs from other anime within it's genre.

I'm still completely mind blown... (,Ծ_Ծ,)
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Well, whatever it's ...

Harem with a hint of taboo
At its heart, this is a little more then a harem comedy with the "twist" that one of the girls is his sister.

For the most part, this is handled in a surprisingly decent way; one can even argue that, for the two seasons, the "sister love" angle serves as a philosophical means of making the viewer think about what love actually means. We all have many loves in lives: family, friends, casual ...

Smart and Emotional Series. Easy to Support
Honestly love this show. If any book should not be judged by the cover, it is Oreimo. Ore no imouto ga konnani kawaii wake ga nai ( 俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない ) there is no point in describing this show. All you need to know is that is a slice of life show that focusses on an older brother trying to provide sound council to his younger sister for her otaku hobbies she has kept secret. It did not take me ...

Amazing anime, best in a long long time.
An amazing anime with a very horribly terribly horrendously bad ending. But an amazing anime none the less. The series tells an accurate and heartfelt story about a topic very common in real life but too taboo due to what religion has warped society into. Oh also the ending was complete garbage. Did I mention the ending sucked?
