Was good as is, but possibly even great series!
I really did like the running of this anime! it had me addicting and I watched in in a full 2 days. I just hope an ending with Ruri or Ayase would release in OVA. I just have three things you must do before getting into this series.
    1. Make sure you watch OVA's after the first season. This is because if you start off the 2nd one, you will be entirely confused.
    2. Don't read comments ...

Aside from the ending, a great Anime
What to expect when you're watching Oreimo?? Well, off the top of my head, expect this to be a harem-filled romantic comedy surrounding two siblings, Kyosuuke Kosaka and Kirino Kosaka. Kirino, the tsundere little sister of Kyosuuke, is a closet otaku who begins to seek advice from her big brother. The series focuses on the two siblings developing their relationship while making new friends along ...

"People are really, really stupid." The Review of Oreimo Season 2.
I may have not watched the OVA for the anime yet, but I already knew how it was going to end in the beginning. This is not a matter of opinion or anything, but holy crap there are to many stupid people that try to create a review. It's like the whole gay/lesbian argument in society at the moment. It truly disgusts me the way people think about certain topics and instantly deem it to be ...

    The characters make the story.
Each character shape the plot slowly and really gets you to this anime. Kyousuke the main character is someone relate-able and allows for the individual to view his perspective and thought process perfectly. There's not much to say as the show is either a hit or miss for many people. I loved it and it brought me further into the world of Japanese subcultures.

A Creepy Course in Character Development
I don't usually watch shows like this, much less review them, but I did for some reason. First off it's a school/slice of life (or not so slice of life)/romantic comedy. If you want to know how much I dislike this genre, I'll tell you I hated Clannad. Somehow, I clicked this show and started watching it, and became strangely hooked. This review will tell you why.

    Basic Review:
    Animation: ...

Even non siscons can love it.
I spent two days watching all of Oreimo S1 and S2. I was never bored, longing to find out what happens with the next episode in this show! Kirino's tsundere attitude is nothing short of kawaii, and Kuroneko's sharp but gentle personality is adorable. I will admit, that I thought that around the ending episodes of the Second Season, it felt less realistic that Kyosuke hadn't mentioned anything when ...

An energetic and sweet romantic comedy that isn't afraid to take on taboo subjects.
Oreimo is about a brother helping out his little sister and their various misadventures together. Kirino is her name, she is a perfect student, a track star, a model, and a closet otaku with a passion for little sister eroge. Kyousuke, the brother, is a fairly normal high school senior who wants to live a normal life.

I thoroughly enjoyed the humor in the show, A lot of it is derived from the ...

    You should watch this anime.
I liked this anime and I do recommend people to watch this. I watched all of season 1 and 2 and yes I watched the ova (the one everyone keeps complaining about). Crunchyroll doesn't have it anymore so I had to look else where for it. Sure they could've gone a different direction with it, but come on people "My little sister...." you knew what you guys were getting yourselves ...

Harem with a hint of taboo
At its heart, this is a little more then a harem comedy with the "twist" that one of the girls is his sister.

For the most part, this is handled in a surprisingly decent way; one can even argue that, for the two seasons, the "sister love" angle serves as a philosophical means of making the viewer think about what love actually means. We all have many loves in lives: family, friends, casual ...

    There's More Here Than Romance
I will avoid spoilers, although doing so will make this difficult.

Oreimo has a lot going on. If you have a background in psychology or are otherwise empathetic then you'll be able to spot it fairly quickly. The stories of these characters are actually quite tragic, but never once does the series fail to come across as innocent or fun. Yes, even later in the series.

There's just so much more ...
