    Amazing anime, despite disappointing ending
The characters combined with an an overall pleasant atmosphere and music makes this my favorite anime to date. Yeah, the ending wasn't the best, but this was because

    Good show AND ending
The entire show was wonderful with good story and character building. All of the characters were great and I think the story was wrapped up well (as long as you watch the season 2 OVAs).

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES CITIZENS!!!
Ok. First things first.... You there... Reading this... Stand up.
SERIOUSLY, STAND UP RIGHT NOW, SPIT IN FRONT OF YOU, SPIN 3 TIMES AND TAP YOUR SHOULDERS.

Ok good. Now that the curse hasn't been passed on to you yet I can still save you citizen. I'm gonna keep it short and simple. You will LOVE the first season. You will climb lamp posts and yodel in public during the second season. But ...

A gem of an anime that ultimately destroys itself in the end.
The first two seasons of Oreimo are anime gold as far as I'm concerned. They're laugh-out-loud funny, they have amazing characters, and they have a super-engaging overarching plot. However, the finale, which is meant to bring closure to the show and its characters, does nothing of the sort. Much like Kashimashi before it, Oreimo builds up a deep story and then manages to shatter it within the ...

"I need advice" ... A very well done anime
If you seen the first season then you know what to expect here.. This show is great in it's own way. The characters and story are so amazing and surprisingly match the manga almost to the letter. This show was by far one of the greatest I had ever watched and I've watched A LOT of anime.. Give it a try, just one episode and I guarantee you will enjoy every minute.

Raises the standard for the romantic comedy/harem genre
WARNING! This will be a spoiler filled review. Wouldn't recommend reading if you haven't finished the series.

So, for starters I turned on this anime expecting a typical romantic comedy with a bit of incest filled jokes and innuendos between Kyosuke and Kirino, or in this case, wincest. haha
Oreimo got this idea of mine and completely shattered it in half! Never have I ...

I would have given this a higher rating...
I would have given this a higher rating, if it was not for how it ended. The show was funny and endearing quite often. But, in the end, I hated the two main characters. They both manipulated and toyed with other people's feeling without a care in the world. And, there were no repercussions for either of them.

My Review of Oreimo from beginning and End
" I'm writing this review at the end of Oreimo season 2 after the OVA so I may refer to it mostly... " Oreimo, the first episode confused me at first, but later figured it out. The story of Kyousuke and Kirino and there time spending on life counseling interested me, but mostly how they slowly treat each other differently. The characters were made and introduced with full content of what ...

After everything, this is what I think.
The thing about this anime, is that is easily misunderstood just by giving a small piece of context (such as sis-con). What people seem to miss though, is that there are pieces of morals and ethics you can gain from watching this anime. Also, Oreimo is very different, unique and current with today's age. I feel that the writers aren't trying to convey that it's suddenly okay to have an sibling ...
