  • Just to keep this short and sweet
I finished this entire series in a 2 day period. I was to enthralled by my curiosity to really have restraint on this.
Let's just say... No regrets for binge watching and if anything it enhanced the experience.
Wish I could give more stars. Guess i'll have to move onto the LN and games now.

    A Sad, Yet Beautiful Tale.
This drama is the definition of an actually real life scenario in which one has to choose between family and friends. I will agree although the idea and concept of the show was, and exactly is, like and eroge game in which the main character falls in love with his sister, it's still a little creepy. Though, that did not stop me from finishing the series. It's a very sad tale in which denial kicks ...

There Is Nothing "Cute" About This Little Sister
So, disclaimer: I could only endure 12 episodes of this show before dropping it like Organic Chemistry. Thus, my review is limited to Season 1 (though I’ve heard rumors of Season 2 and the rather, ahem, uncomfortable direction it goes in).

I don’t really remember how I came across Oreimo. I think I saw a clip of it on YouTube, thought it looked good, and decided to check it out. Boy, what ...

  • Weird start, but a great story.
I like the way this show turned out. It had an interesting plot.

That being said, let me say that I can't really get the whole "in love with my sibling" thing. That is just weird to me, but that is also where this story manages to mix things up. It side steps the whole siblings in love thing and goes into a new angle that works way better. The relationship of a brother and his sister is still ...

  • kirino is the best girl
a lot of people say don't watch the OVAs but i really felt like a lot of the plot was missing without them. imho, it helped the story unfold better as you're able to witness the events they are referencing. regardless of the OVA controversy, i enjoyed the series as a whole. it was super cute but showed moments of depth with kirino's (albeit slow) character growth. i will definitely revisit this ...

  • Wincest. Are you rustled?
As a disclaimer, I would like to say that these five stars are only based off of how much I personally enjoyed the show, both seasons and the OVA included, but are not really an objective analysis.

To very briefly address the disagreement on the quality of this show:

I think to begin with, most of us can agree that the first two seasons have more or less consistently been a pleasant ...

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY AWAY
When im informing someone of whether they should watch an anime i tell them a little about the plot and what they should expect so that is what im going to do here im going to tell you about the incredibly, creepy, weird, awkward, and certainly uncomfortable journey that oreimo takes you on. first off let me just get to the point and say that this anime ........... is about ........ INCEST alright ...

  • The concept of social construct between sibling interpersonal development.
The anime was satisfying since it showed kyouske's character development. Initially, he was portrayed as a lazy and non ambitious person, but as his relationship with his sister progressed, he became more reliable to solve social implications. I wish the anime wasn't rushed. I heard the light novel was very detailed.

  • My little review of Oreimo can't be this harsh
The story is quite original, follow the siblings around, with a pretty huge twist. The show has a bit of drama and romance, but overall you're in for a heavy dose of comedy. Music excellent and fits the mood well especially during several touching moments, along with a wide variety of simply amazing OP and ED songs. The animation is good, although characters don't really move that much. If I had ...

Funny, enjoyable show for people who are open about anime
Season 1 of Oreimo, was really funny at times and I really had a good laugh. The relationship that Kyosuke and Kirino share was a pretty typical, brother sister relationship with a lot of arguments and such. Basically the sister hates the brother, but they try to work things out. Kirino has a problem with being addicted to anime, and has no friends to talk about it with. Kyosuke helps her and they ...
