Aside from the ending, a great Anime
What to expect when you're watching Oreimo?? Well, off the top of my head, expect this to be a harem-filled romantic comedy surrounding two siblings, Kyosuuke Kosaka and Kirino Kosaka. Kirino, the tsundere little sister of Kyosuuke, is a closet otaku who begins to seek advice from her big brother. The series focuses on the two siblings developing their relationship while making new friends along ...

A fun show, with an ending that is Disappointment Incarnate
I checked out Oreimo on a whim. I wanted a lighthearted anime to watch over a short break and I had read some interesting things about Oreimo so I watched the first episode. I was charmed. The soundtrack, the fluid animation, the voice acting was great. After the third episode, I knew I was hooked.

I won't make any claims that this show is anything greater than what it is. It is a simple drama ...

What the world has come to
I think that this show was just pure fun and laughter. It was a Heartwarming story about a older brother and his sister. The characters wher all comedic and the storyline was predictable but overall it had a sence of reality. It was all great and if you fell like watching a real heartwarming story give it a shot.

    Great Anime must watch!
i think its one of the best animes I've watched but the biggest problem is that they cut out a lot of the characters background stories and on crunchy roll it doesn't have the OVA's so if someone watches the 2nd season without knowing about the OVAs then it would be confusing, plus i think they could of also made a Ayase route or Kuroneko route but other than that i think it's a really good one ...

    Back due to popular demand
Reviewing second season of Oreimo. Contains some spoilers on both seasons..

Back when I watched the first season (and reviewed it), I had gotten the feeling that I enjoyed this anime franchise way more then I should have. The first season had many flaws but they were covered up with the energy and pure fun that earned it a huge fanbase around the world. It's a bit overrated but still a ...

"People are really, really stupid." The Review of Oreimo Season 2.
I may have not watched the OVA for the anime yet, but I already knew how it was going to end in the beginning. This is not a matter of opinion or anything, but holy crap there are to many stupid people that try to create a review. It's like the whole gay/lesbian argument in society at the moment. It truly disgusts me the way people think about certain topics and instantly deem it to be ...

My Little Sister Can't Be This Entertaining
There are certain shows that, after the final episode ends, depression washes over me as I realize that it is really over. If I hear the theme song for this particular show, those same feelings rear their heads and I am reminded of everything that I felt as if I just finished watching the show. After finishing Oreimo, I felt the same depression, knowing that I would no longer get to enjoy the ...

    This is absolute garbage.
You don't need to be a professional critic to tell that a series where a kid lusts after his little sister, who also happens to love incest/pedophilia eroge (no doubt written as the author's own form of wish fulfillment fantasy), is garbage. Don't even bother watching this trash.

One of those shows I enjoyed for some reason I can't explain.
Oreimo was one of those shows I don't know why I liked so much, but I did.

The only regret I have is I wish they made it 3 seasons long because a lot of material was left out from the novels.

Nonetheless, all anime viewers should watch this.

The ending might not be what you want, but it is the closest thing the writer could get that he wanted.
