    Back due to popular demand
Reviewing second season of Oreimo. Contains some spoilers on both seasons..

Back when I watched the first season (and reviewed it), I had gotten the feeling that I enjoyed this anime franchise way more then I should have. The first season had many flaws but they were covered up with the energy and pure fun that earned it a huge fanbase around the world. It's a bit overrated but still a ...

"People are really, really stupid." The Review of Oreimo Season 2.
I may have not watched the OVA for the anime yet, but I already knew how it was going to end in the beginning. This is not a matter of opinion or anything, but holy crap there are to many stupid people that try to create a review. It's like the whole gay/lesbian argument in society at the moment. It truly disgusts me the way people think about certain topics and instantly deem it to be ...

My Little Sister Can't Be This Entertaining
There are certain shows that, after the final episode ends, depression washes over me as I realize that it is really over. If I hear the theme song for this particular show, those same feelings rear their heads and I am reminded of everything that I felt as if I just finished watching the show. After finishing Oreimo, I felt the same depression, knowing that I would no longer get to enjoy the ...

    This is absolute garbage.
You don't need to be a professional critic to tell that a series where a kid lusts after his little sister, who also happens to love incest/pedophilia eroge (no doubt written as the author's own form of wish fulfillment fantasy), is garbage. Don't even bother watching this trash.

One of those shows I enjoyed for some reason I can't explain.
Oreimo was one of those shows I don't know why I liked so much, but I did.

The only regret I have is I wish they made it 3 seasons long because a lot of material was left out from the novels.

Nonetheless, all anime viewers should watch this.

The ending might not be what you want, but it is the closest thing the writer could get that he wanted.

If it weren't for the OVA ending, this would've been 5 stars
Do yourself a favor and don't watch the three OVA episodes that follow the final episode of season 2. Those last three episodes completely ruined this series for me, as they destroyed all of the meaning and progression that had been made up until that point. This series could have been a great one with a mediocre ending, but that turned it into a great series ruined by it's ending.

    It's too bad ...

I have NEVER been this irrated about the way an anime has ended!
UGHH!! It was all going well and this was gonna be a 5 star rating! But the OVA...THE OVA. .. NO. NO. It just made the whole adventure POINTLESS.

    The characters make the story.
Each character shape the plot slowly and really gets you to this anime. Kyousuke the main character is someone relate-able and allows for the individual to view his perspective and thought process perfectly. There's not much to say as the show is either a hit or miss for many people. I loved it and it brought me further into the world of Japanese subcultures.

    Should have ended here
S.2 episode 13 would have been an alright end to a plot that could not really have a great ending. it shows motives, background, explains why she had such mixed feelings, and how she became the person she was. it left a lot to wonder and imagination. i would have thought something like "oh her feelings might be confused cause shes still young, getting family love (like with your ...
