Parkour is really just Kung Fu. Its a copy of Jackie Chans skills from this movies in the 70s and 80s. He was doing so called 'free running' from the baddies in his movies. A couple of french dudes copied him and gave it a name.

pretty cool stuff actually, this sort of thing probably takes a helluva lot of physical training. The places and buildings used were really nice too and gave great scenery and chances to show off.
