The Difference Between A Photographer and An Artist
Photo Kano is a sophisticated work of imagery focused storytelling. One may not realize this at first, but the beautifully drawn figures are what draw you in, and while the story only holds you for a moment, the end results make it worth sitting through this slideshow of a boy's life during high school.

Sometimes difficult to tell the pacing, since time-reference isn't shown very often in the ...

Even for a generic harem anime, Photo Kano falls way short
Photo Kano is, at its core, a show that should only be watched by people who 1) have run out of original anime to watch, 2) thoroughly enjoy generic harem animes, and 3) are looking for a time sink because they have too much time on their hands. Admittedly, I fell into the latter two categories for a while, but as the show progressed, any promise the show originally had diminished so much ...

Turns into a dating sims ( Dating Sims game into an anime)
It was good at first part, where he fell in love with the his childhood friend, but the more it went on with him falling in love with the other girls just made the series worse for me. It just to much for a short series like this. Short series should stick to smaller group instead of going for the big group in such a small series. It just fell apart after the first girl.

Better off playing the actual game.
When an anime series is based solely off a video game my expectations for the series are rather low -- although there have been some great adaptions, that is not the case for Photo Kano. Still I feel with this one, you get what you expect. Photo Kano started off with what seemed to be a solid story -- but then goes south as the series begins to mimic the game (a dating sim) to where each episode ...

This was a case of bad photography
Well, what do we have here. It's PhotoKano, a series based off the dating game of the same name. The series focuses on this young boy named Kazuya Maeda who happens to be a high school student enjoying the youth of his life. Perhaps he is enjoying it too much though with that little toy of his. It's a camera and used to capture memories through its lenses. With imagination, you can discover magic ...

    Simple, easy, and not demanding
I'm sure there are a fair amount of people who don't really care for this series for not being complex, or being a typical cringe worthy romance. Instead the series doesn't really ask much of the viewer, and instead gives a very predictable progression of events. Though for me, I had no issue with this. The reason I give it a five star rating is because it was what I wanted when I needed it. A ...

    Viewer Beware.......
People keep saying how it isn't ecchi, just watch one episode and you'll see how ecchi it is. Even MAL says that it's ecchi. I liked the idea of turning a simulation into an anime, but turning every episode into an alternate universe wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Drawn well, decent enough of a story line, but could have been executed better.

  • I personaly liked it
Sure it was confusing at first but once you understand it has multiple endings I was like yes finally a harem where the protaginst ends up with the female character I like. Sure its far from perfect but I like the concept and how it was executed. Some people hats this anime for the great story then ditching it to go to a new girl. But they aren't true harem lover's because its a funny cute anime ...

  • Feel-good anime similar to Amagami SS
Photo Kano follows Kazuya Maeda’s life during high-school. After receiving his father's old camera, he enters the world of photo shooting. The first episodes are, like any other anime, introduction-like episodes. It gives us information about Kazuya himself, the school, the students and also Kazuya's potential love interests.

After the initial introduction the story branches of into multiple ...
