Slow at times but I finished the entire 142 episode series

The plot in the first 50 odd episodes did dawdle a bit while setting up the series for the craziness to ensue in the next 92 episodes. There were times I wanted to rip the tv off my wall and throw it through a window at the stupidity and innocence of the main character. The plot in the first 50 odd episodes did dawdle a bit while setting up the series for the craziness to ensue in the next 92 episodes. There were times I wanted to rip the tv off my wall and throw it through a window at the stupidity and innocence of the main character. But her character change was utterly addictive to watch when she finally turned. If you can get past the first 50. A lot of the subtleties of the story line become pertinent details and hints of what's to come in the last 92 episodes so try to pay attention to a lot of the hints in the first 50. The series definitely rewards those that enjoy the little easter eggs in every episode.

Life lessons learned.

I watched it all the way through. For the most part, it was engaging, but there were some parts where it just got too repetitive which is why i knocked off a couple stars.

So what was good about this drama?

I watched it all the way through. For the most part, it was engaging, but there were some parts where it just got too repetitive which is why i knocked off a couple stars.

So what was good about this drama?
I really liked the evil girl Mi-Ran. Her psychotic behavior turned things upside down all the time. Gae-uns ex-husband's greed was so strong that he screwed over anyone he could. This I believe is pretty realistic because it really happens! This shows how some people can have no shame and virtually no conscience. Revenge and karma are represented very nicely in this show. The series of events shows how revenge is never good and what goes around comes around (even for the good characters!).

What was bad?
I understand that this is a drama and it's not real life, but some of the situations were just too unrealistic. The main character, she was TOO naive, and I think this is a big part of why I feel it dragged on. She was almost child like, which was really annoying because she's a grown woman and should know better than that! Another reason why it dragged on was because sometimes they prolonged an insignificant scenario too much and it felt like the story line wasn't progressing.

Again, overall, it was a decent show. Not the best, but also it's something to watch.

Hmmm its hard to keep watching

I ended up not watching this all the way through. I ended up hating 3 of the main characters and starting disliking another main character. The drama is at a high level with an interesting plot but annoying main characters (like the a certain son's mom is just unbearable) At 40 episodes through i just couldn't take the amount of hate,stupidity,selfishness,and tearing each other apart anymore. I ...

I ended up not watching this all the way through. I ended up hating 3 of the main characters and starting disliking another main character. beautiful yet sad...

I thought this drama was such a heart clincher.
such pain and sadness for the main Character..
You get twisted feelings for the other supporting cast, debating whether you love them or hate them..
i thought it focused way to much on the past
but over all
i really loved this drama

This drama truly is a masterpiece. There is a lot of character development. If you like dramas about revenge, love, love triangles, and drama that occurs from lies and jealous then I truly recommend this. You will cry for the main character and share her feelings too! I got Mix feelings about this drama

This drama was a mix of classic Korean drama with a very modern point of view.
I watched the full drama and I was pleased with the ending. The acting are very decent especially the wonderful Eun Hye Park, her character is very challenging and i think she does a very good job. The rest of the actors are just ok.

This drama is so Boring!!!

This drama is so boring!!!. The charactesr are overacted, no one can be so naive as the female main character; this is the first Korean drama I dislike. Eun Hye Park does not act, she fakes it, her "acting" is the same in other dramas.

Running In Flashback Mode

I barely got through about six episodes of this show before I completely lost interest. I don't like flashbacks that last several episodes. I think they arranged the show incorrectly, placing one episode revealing the present (when the affair is revealed) at the beginning and then stringing us along through a re-run of how the affair happened and how they kept it secret from the main character for many YEARS. If I was interested in "how they did it" I would watch this show, but I'm interested in "how will the betrayed wife handle this?" which is not the focus until episode 30 or something crazy like that, that's why I couldn't go on. Every time I thought the story would skip to the present it just went deeper and deeper into the past to show the many levels of adultery and emotional/financial manipulation that was happening. I'm not wasting life-hours on watching constant evil happening to an innocent person, with no balance of good. I'd like to see a character moving on and eventually breaking even with those that hurt her.

My suggestion is: If you're into painful drama, that seems to just push the knife deeper and deeper, then this is for you. But if you only want to see the character suffer for a little bit before rising from the pain, then you should move on to something else.

Somehow reminds me of Brilliant Legacy

I am on episode 90 of this series. I absolutely love this show. If it weren't so long I'd probably re-watch it. It rends my heart continually, almost to the point that I don't find it bearable. It becomes watchable because the happy moments are pure joy and override the sad points.
This roller coaster is 100% worth the ride.

This series was quite memorable. With a dramatic story line that will keep you at the edge of your seat. The characters will suck you in and you will hate em' love em' and fall in limbo.
