    Three's not a Crowd, but a Riot!
Three very recognizable friends (stock cast if ever one was assembled!) show just how clever and new an old formula can become with just a little brave writing. In this slice-of-life series, a curvaceous bimbo, a surprisingly attentive airhead, and a somewhat sarcastic wit merge into that most frightening of high school superorganisms, a clique. While not crass, per se, the show straddles ...

Funny, Cute and a Little Raunchy
I love shorts so I was pretty much all of the ones posted here on CR. Galko-chan had a lot of buzz before the season started and I have to say that I love it more than I thought I would. With weird, raunchy questions, we get odd episodic splits that show Galko-chan, the quintessential hot girl, be human! She's girly and beautiful and friends with a rich girl and a nerd, but she's not really placed ...

    Refreshing and Earnest
Please Tell Me! Galko-chan is a rarity: a frank and playful narrative that centers around subjects often far too taboo to even elude to, let alone act as an episodic theme. My experience watching Galko-chan was wholly enjoyable.

Galko-chan is primarily about three unique perspectives regarding physiological and sociological issues young girls encounter during puberty and high-school. While ...

    Surprisingly Natural
This is probably the first slice of life anime that's ever enthralled me. I've never been a fan of the genre in the past (though i know it's very popular).

At first glance, the main trio seems like nothing more than vapid tropes. However, the whole point of the show and it's dialogue and characters appears to be to play with your expectations of anime and specifically how teenage girls are ...

Smart, interesting, and funny slice of life
I didn't know what to make of this series, and based on the first episode, I thought it would have more of an "ecchi" element to it, but I was mistaken. Please Tell me! Galko-chan is actually a character-driven slice of life comedy that just lets itself go into more ecchi-ish territory to explore human relationships and to dive into truth-based comedy that other shows tend to not get into as ...

    Real Talk With Galko-chan
As honest as it is funny, Galko-chan is a very frank comedy disguised as a high school show. I am surprised at the number of things the girls can talk about without any form of censorship. (Yes, anime girls do get their periods, and they do go to the bathroom!) There is also an unusual level of character development and gentle camaraderie despite this being a short show, and I ...

Short and Sweet Slice of Homeroom
There some selection bias at work here. We have three friends who talk in homeroom. Most homeroom talk is boring, stuff like, "Did you see so-and-so's new outfit?" or "What did you think of the latest episode of something?" This one takes the most interesting topics and makes it seem as if girls only talk about that.

That observation of bias aside, the conversations are generally both frank ...

Please Tell Me! WHY NO ONE HAS TOLD ME TO WATCH THIS?
Even though the episodes are only 7 minutes it feels like a full length show.
I have never heard anyone talk about this anime, but I found it scrolling through various shows.
This anime consists of 2 main characters, and various stories told every episode.
Most of the episodes talk about boobs, boobs and more boobs.

Questions you'd never ask a teacher but wanted to know
The series' main hook is spelled out in the title in that each episode centers around one or more questions that most young adults want answers to but would never ask their teachers or parents. Toss in the view points of three distinct personality types, a bit of school slice-of-life, and what you end up with are brutally honest answers given in some of the funniest ways possible while avoiding ...

Galko-chan and friends won me over
This has been one of the most pleasant and unexpected gems of the season for me. When I first started watching 'Please Tell Me! Galko-chan,' I didn't have high expectations. On the surface, it looks like a simple slice of life, with raunchy humor and a handful of tropey-looking characters (more on this later). Yet, remarkably, over the course of the short twelve episodes this show managed to ...
