  • Usuniki's Review: "Very entertaining, fun and you learn Japanese!"
    My personal rating: 9/10

It's calming and makes me feel at ease, all the while making me laugh and squeal at how cute some of the characters are. It's really funny and you actually learn Japanese from watching it. I'm sure if you have kids or small siblings I'm sure they would enjoyed it a lot and learn something new in each episodes.

A kind of anime you would sit down and have a hot drink as you watch
Polar Bear's Cafe is a very casual anime as it goes through the life of the animals and humans in this world. Many episodes give you a laugh, or make you feel emotional in some way. You may relate to a character in terms of how they act, or you may relate to an issue going on in an episode. Each character has their own charm, and the constant puns and gags make it worth while. All in all, this ...

A show about...nothing? But in a good way
Our friends in this series are the cutest- a roly-poly panda, a sort of annoying penguin, and a calm, friendly polar bear. Along with their pal, a friendly waitress, they go through believable situations as they try to change themselves. The animals are calm, accepting, and sweet. I love them!

    Highly Unique For An Anime
Polar Bear's Café is probably my favorite series on this site. The art is nicely done, the stories featured in most episodes are either hilarious or have just the right amount of drama, and the characters are just so adorable! You have Panda, who is very roly-poly and lazy, Polar Bear, who is calm and very much like an older brother, Penguin, who is terrible at comedy but is also very sweet, ...

  • "Slice of Life" but with Bears
Polar Bear Cafe is about the lives of Polar Bear and his friends, namely Panda and Penguin. There are some human characters as well who get their own episodes, but the main focus is on the animals. The show doesn't have an overarching plot, making it a relaxing show to watch after a long day at work or school.

I usually don't like the "slice of life" genre, but I really love this show. It's ...

  • Never too old for this show!
I'm a grown ass woman (I guess) and LOVE this series! Adorable and playful, kid friendly without TOO much substance - but I really couldn't get enough of Panda, Polar Bear and their friends...and it left me wishing there was a cafe nearby I could hang out at

    My top comedy anime!
Frankly, I love this show to death. It's entertaining and has a unique charm that fits the style wonderfully. The characters are all individually great, plus the combinations of all the dumb jokes are hilarious. You can bear with all the puns easily.

  • It's a great slice of life anime series
Polar bear café has good elements of comedy and slice of life, with a dash of drama. This show is more suited for more experienced anime viewers (I mean who are familiar with Japan's culture), and will make many people have a calming and relatable feeling with the characters.
