    Observant, energetic, and crazy
Each episode is short and sweet. Poyopoyo is like a haiku poem, or a blog post. It makes its point in as few words (or frames) as needed, and then leaves you smiling or thinking.
It's a show that makes observations on human nature, cats, and friendship.
It gives you a glimpse at Japanese culture, and is enjoyable for adults and children alike. I can rewatch any of the episodes and still find ...

  • Poyo Poyo Poyo Pyu~~~~
Very entertaining. Very fun. The opening song gets stuck in my head a lot. The style of art makes me feel like I'm reading a manga more than watching a show. All the characters are dynamic and comical. The town is nice and small (I don't remember if it's based on Hokkaido or not). Overall, good anime.

  • Poyo goes Round and Round!
The show is halirious; focused on a round cat, who knew so much could happen?
Though there is no main over-arching plotc, the anime does provide a lot of entertainment. It's great to watch whenever you have free time, are on the go, or just looking for a laugh.
The episodes are well done, and the characters hold a deeper personality than what you might first assume.
Careful not to go to fast ...

  • Too cute and round: Poyo!
If you like silly happy happy shows, then this is everything you could ask for. It's a bunch of really cute shorts starring a really round cat who sets up half of the gags. It's adorable, easy to watch, and you'll fall in love with this close-knit family and their pets.

  • One of the funniest animations ever.
This show needs no explanation. It is about a cute, melon-shaped kitty who gets into trouble and adventures. It really is a show for all ages, as it has some hidden adult themes in some random episodes such as (spoiler alert) boobie shaped muffins. Watch!

  • Mindless entertainment
No surprises here: Poyopoyo is exactly what it looks like. Prepare your eyes for 3 minutes of strange, cat-based, slice of life humour. The opening theme is infuriatingly catchy, so also prepare your ears. I like the fast paced mini-stories and the offbeat characters (Dad is my favourite.) Nothing deep or painful here; in the world of Poyopoyo, all is round and cute and people are ...

    Fast and Funny. Awesome.
Poyo is basically my road to calmness. The cuteness of this show basically eleviates any and all anxiety in an instant I had earlier on from life and other shows that stress me out even though I love them. It's cute, it's simple, and it doesn't take long to boost my spirits. Poyo is one of the most awesome cats in the world.

  • Now I want a cat....
Going to be honest here, my first impressions were "WHY WOULD ANYOOONNNEEEE WATCH THIS?" then I watched it (surprise surprise). And you know what? I deserve senpakku for thinking that (albeit a badly aimed one that only grazes my shoulder). This anime is absolutely adorable. It really frames the simplicity of everyday life in country side japan, mixed in with a bit of oddity and tons of fluffy ...

    Cute, clever, and funny.
I'm normally not the type to like "slice of life" style shows but this is an exception. The shows satirical outlook on life in rural Japan is both funny and engaging. The “gag of the week” formula seems to work great for a show like this. When each episode ends you really can't wait to see what happens next week even without an over arching plot.

While the show is funny I do feel some of the ...
