Good: The actors, music, chemistry between Shin and Chae Gyung.
Bad: Excessive time on past romance of Lee Yul's mother and the King.

To non-Koreans, many Korean dramas are known for emphasizing the each main characters' feelings. And this drama doesn't lack it at all! This drama was overall excellent and addicting to watch! My absolute favorite drama in this world is tied between a Hong Kong drama called "Beyond the Realm of Conscious" and a Korean drama, "Jewel In the Palace". This drama is my second favorite drama EVER.
Everything in "Princess Hours" was good.
Let's start with each individuals' looks, shall we? How could you sell a book without a nice cover? ;]
Lee Shin - he was absolutely fantastic<3 He is so charismatic and handsome. At first, I thought he looked okay and wasn't too cute, however, the more episodes I watch, the more attractive he seems to get. He has looks that will slowly grow on you.
Shin Chae Gyung - She was so pretty! She has that bubbly cute face that you cannot hate. In real life, Yoon Eun Hye is also really pretty. In this drama, she was so cute :D
Lee Yul - Yul was one of those characters that you secretly felt bad for but found to be a third wheel in all situations. He was cute and also charismatic.
Min Hyorin - Hyorin was a very unlikable character in this drama, however, that's how you're suppose to view her, meaning the actress did a good job portraying this character. She is honestly stunning. She has that natural beauty that would make you really believe she could steal the Prince's heart at first.
Their acting skills were superb! I thought Lee Shin (Joo Ji Hoon) did an especially great job on his part. His character seemed cold in the beginning but began to warm up to Chae Gyung at the end.
The music was FANTASTIC. One of the best OSTs I've heard in my life. I loved every single song (even the instrumentals!). I especially liked "Perhaps Love", they used the song at the right scenes and very strategically, making me fall in love with the song even more.
The storyline was refreshing. It's not as typical as many Korean dramas. The only bad thing I have to say about this drama is part of the storyline, which included a lot about the successor of the throne. I thought the past romance of Lee Yul's mom and the King was a bit too much. It actually bored me. The competition about who will be the next King was actually a good break from too much focus on pure romance and gives a wider audience, however, there was too much about a past romance and the relations of Lee Yul's mother and the king.
I also think the chemistry between Shin (Joo Ji Hoon) and Chae Gyung (Yoon Eun Hye) was mesmerizing and absolutely fantastic! I haven't seen such good chemistry in a while in dramas.
Overall, this is a must watch for any drama addicts!
