  • one of the greatest anime I've ever watched
It's been a while since I've seen an anime with such an original and intriguing plot. I loved that the story stayed true to the overarching plot without any convolution. Each character is well fleshed out and we got to see some realistic character development. I thought this was an interesting meditation on the fate of society as we become more and more reliant on AI and how that translates to the ...

  • Good, with reservations
I have mixed feelings about this show. The characters are great. Akane is someone you root for from the moment she steps on-screen. Her relationship with her subordinate Kogami is interesting, but I thought there could have been more development there. The action is also good when the show gets going, which unfortunately doesn't happen often enough in my opinion.

My biggest issue is that ...

  • S1 was great! (There is no S2)
While it is a darker show, it really makes you think, which I find amazing. Anime like this are rare and often hard to find, and this is definitely a must watch if you enjoy darker thrillers. A couple of the side cast were barely developed, which is the reason for the 4 stars, but other than those characters, the rest were built up perfectly, from a great protagonist to a relatable villain. This ...

  • Great premise but...
The movie was great, series itself was ok (ignore season 2, even season 1 had moments where I thought "really we're supposed to believe this?" but still ended strongly enough).

I loved Motohiro Katsuyuki's work (the Odoru Daisousasen dramas) from childhood, the combination with Gen Urobuchi and Akira Amano's character design sounded like a dream come true! In the end, it's an amazing concept ...

  • When Science and Philosophy Blend
This anime blew my mind away with the most sophisticated philosophical discourses on humanity set in a futuristic world. Questions about morality and human nature abound. Beautiful cinematics and gripping suspense accompany each episode. There is no dull moment.

If you like an anime that gives you an opportunity to think freely about the world with multi-faceted views, this is the one.

  • Finally available in Sweden!!!
This is a great show. At least the first season is. The second is bearable but drops the ball quite a lot. With that said - the ultimate mix of Blade Runner, investigative cop show and noire individualist saga... in beautifully animated form. Watch it, love it.

  • S1 was great! But...
Do yourself a favor and watch Season 1, it is great! I love it! It dragged in a few episodes, but it is worth it. The two main protagonists balance each other and grow from their partnership. The supporting cast is interesting and well rounded. LOVE THAT THERE IS LESBIAN REPRESENTATION IN THE SUPPORTING CAST! YASS JAPAN! However... Season 2 was difficult to watch and is why this review isn't 5 ...

  • A True Delight to Watch
Great series with engaging story and curve balls. The characters are all very different and unique in their own ways, and the setting and the story is well managed and moved along throughout the series.

A true delight to watch that keeps you engaged and constantly thinking, trying to unravel the case first before the anime shows you the actual result.

  • A show for the collection.
Psycho-Pass is a spectacular show which maintains action that keeps you on the edge of your seat while giving a melancholy and grim undertone that truly projects this dystopian world. I would entirely recommend. The only slight deviation from this shows AWESOMENESS is that (without spoiling anything) the second season was slightly less captivating than the first but finished nicely leaving SOME ...
