This is a photo series about Malaysia, the lesser known of the South East Asian countries. Here’s a photo of downtown Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas towers (3rd or 4th tallest buildings in the world.)
The average temperature in Malaysia is something like 81° F and 70%-100% humidity. Why would anybody need a heater? Why indeed. Most cars do not have heaters, just a dial for how cold do you want it.

I was told this was a monk, an actual monk. You are supposed to apply little squares of gold on his body and over time has become a golden statue. There’s a picture of him while he was alive at the bottom.

The sign basically says: “Cannot come? We deliver.” That’s right, McDonalds delivery. Apparently no minimum.
Unlike the States, drug trafficking is given the highest punishment. No joke. There’s 0 illegal drugs in Malaysia.
The monorail in downtown Kuala Lumpur. It costs $0.60 USD to ride and gets packed during rush hour.
Monitor lizard. The resort we stayed in keeps one in their artifical lake as a pet. It walks around scaring children all day.
