It should come as no surprise to anyone that the X-Men have a following both in Japan and America. Interestingly enough, both sides of the Pacific got to see the classic X-Men cartoon. Now while the actual cartoon itself wasn’t any different on either side save for the native language dubbing, what WAS different were the intros. That’s right…Japan and America got two completely different intros to this classic show.

wow. I was seriously expecting a really baaaad opening from the japanese. But i think they both are pretty good. Japanese only feels weird because , well... its japanese.

I like them both . The Japanese version has more action in it but the characters are slightly anime styled . I grew up with the American version so I still love it.

If that was the intro they got to the show, what was their reaction to the show not being as cool as the opening? The Americans got an intro to the characters whether they knew them or not, while the Japanese got awesome action!
