Being railroaded was never so much fun.
At the very first brush this looks like an attempt to glamorize the Japanese rail system and its workers, but that impression quickly falls to the side as things get moving. Some might take issue with the 'standard' character types, but I would rebut that argument. Honestly it's not just who you cast, but how well you play the story that makes it happen.

The story initially follows 4 young ...

    Something to do with trains
Paint-by-numbers fan service padded with train trivia. (Is there a lot of overlap in these two segments of otaku subculture?) Vacuum-sealed "uniforms" because ANIME, amiright? Also all of the main characters are high school students in some sort of job training program or something, because God forbid a protagonist be over the age of eighteen.

    1st Episode Thoughts
Quick review of 1st episode. I love anime, I love trains, so this seems like a perfect mix. The animation and production values are not bad at all, the pace of the first episode is quick, and establishes the premise and main characters fairly well. It's a little more heavy in the fan service dept then I care for, but the story and character are interesting enough to continue watching.

    Fanservice Strikes Again
I got to episode 4 before giving up. Ugh, the concept of this was so good! A team of kids fighting for good in what seems like a very boring job, but actually leads to a lot of excitement. In this world, the train system keeps Japan running so if something goes wrong for it, all of Japan is in trouble. They even throw in a bit of train trivia every now and again which is nice. Too bad the creators ...

Good So Far, But Not Perfect
Never before have I seen an anime focused on trains. That's mainly why I decided to watch this. As of this writing, I've watched up to episode 7, I think this is a near-perfect series. The main theme gets you pumped, the main characters are well developed, voice acting is great, and animation is superb.

My only criticism is that the fanservice is rather heavy.

    Who loves chu chu trains?
No doubt this will be a romcom sort of actiony series. But it takes place on the railroads of japan. It's also not a school anime as the characters only attend a short academy to be trained as security officers for the national Japanese railway. It may have somewhat typical characters but with a unique setting for different kinds of set ups its very fun to watch. Its also fairly educational as ...

    Expected something else
"Boob Wars!" should be it's actual title. After reading the synopsis I was hoping for a different kind of anime, this general harem + trains made me 'iffy' on my decision to continue watching it, but since I'm the type to complete things that I watch even if it's grueling I have to see it through.

I was hoping for a better plot, he's your typical oblivious MC. He won't out-right stop anyone's ...

    ALL ABORD THE HYPE TRAIN
To tell the truth, when I first saw the title and finished reading the synopsis of the anime I was left whit a odd feeling of uncertainty of if it had any potential. But the second I finished watching the first episode I was hooked and became a believer of this anime and it's true potential to become better and better over time. If you've not tried the first episode yet then I highly recommend you ...

    Disappointing and Unentertaining
I was expecting to watch an interesting anime that actually had a fair bit of little facts about trains, but what I got instead was unnecessary fanservice, characters with no real personality, and a "plot" that barely has anything to do with trains. I feel like I've been cheated, duped, and bamboozled. The only redeeming quality this anime has is the cute art style and nice, smooth animation; but ...

    Looks Pretty good so far...
I know what you might be thinking, "Trains..... Really?....."

If there is one thing i have learned from anime, its that anime can make the most dull things seem exciting. (and not with T&A) so far it seems 10X more exciting than i would have thought. so i would say, Give it a shot.
And Am i REALLY the first to post this?!?
