REBORN!

PLOT/STORYLINE 9.5/10

The series, at first, progressed slowly. It pulls out some random story and turns it into comedy, which, I honestly think, sometimes fails. It got exciting as the first arc approached, yes, the Rokudo Mukuro arc. I always thought this anime would be boring forever, and that I will give up on the anime if it really fails to amuse me. I hesitated until the first arc came. I never knew the series would be serious since all the past episodes were really boring. I never read the manga, so, I don't have a clue on what's gonna happen next. During the first arc, I gotta admit, I was amused.

And so was the second arc, it was entertaining and really breathtaking. I mean, come on, the battles were spectacularly planned. Although some battle scenes might be considered as cliche, it doesn't really matter. The protagonists put up a great appeal and so were the antagonists. As the 2nd arc ended, it became my favorite anime.

Next is, the 3rd arc. It's what I call the millefiore arc. This was the best arc so far. And it just ended on episode 141 (I think). The twist really gave me the goosebumps, yes, it's something that was unexpected.



I never would have thought about that one. I was shocked, yet it gave me a smile for I was amazed once again. The whole arc turned out to be like the game Suikoden. Call me crazy, but, that's what I really think. You recruit, you fight. That's what I saw, the family working together to defend themselves against a powerful opponent, the Millefiore Family. The plot never failed to amuse me, and so are the characters. So, currently, I'm looking forward to the 4th arc, The Arcobalenos' Trials arc (i hope i'm not mistaken.) And I'm getting more excited just thinking about it.

I would have given it a perfect 10, but, the fillers were really low-class and somewhat annoying, so it kinda ruined it.




CHARACTERS

Here are the list of the main characters, and what I think about them:

♦ Sawada Tsunayoshi - An unexpectedly coward Main character who never fails to amaze me. He's the main protagonist of the story, and is really sweet. At first, you will find this guy pretty annoying, that's because he was a wimp back then and always whines. He's got decent looks, when he's normal, but when he's changed into Hyper Dying will mode, he becomes handsome and gorgeous. As the story progresses, you will notice, although it's just a little, his character development and improvement. His leadership skill, bravery and reliability, are some of those traits that continuously develop. He's a great character, therefore, I give him 9.5/10.

♦ Reborn - The so-called strongest Arcobaleno. Yes, I believe so too. He's cute, funny and always reliable during desperate situations. He's what-you -call, Tsuna's tutor. His attitude is remarkable, that's why he's popular with so many fan girls. One of his admirable traits is his unique intellect. You already know it, he's smart and inhumanly skillful, that's why he's reliable enough to be hired as hopeless Tsuna's tutor. He's devilishly adorable, therefore, I give him 10/10.

♦ Gokudera Hayato - Self-proclaimed Tsuna's right-hand man. Sometimes he could be so annoying, when he shouts all the time and shows a little of his creepy "I'm-obsessed-with-the-boss" attitude. You read it right, sometimes, I just don't know if he's in love with Tsuna or just plain doing his job, a loyal right-hand man. His abilities are really unique. Although sometimes I hate him when he insults someone, his character development follows really great as well. Therefore, I give him 9/10.

♦ Yamamoto Takeshi - The only character who can stay calm every time. That's the most admirable trait of his, being calm. "A humble and calm man is always successful", was it? He's also dense, making him a funny character sometimes, and also one of the most handsome characters in the entire series. Although I don't know if there's still something he's lacking, I don't mind because he's just gorgeous the way he is right now. For his calm and dense impression on us, I therefore give him a 9.5/10.

♦ Hibari Kyouya - The most powerful Vongola guardian. He's scary sometimes and lacks cooperation with the others, but that makes him the cool and badass type. He's smart and appeals great for his character is one-of-a-kind. His martial-arts skills and intellect proves that he's a dangerous person to deal with. Sometimes i think his aura is awfully scary, yet not scary (If you know what I mean.). His cool-type personality receives a 9/10 from me.

♦ Sasagawa Ryohei - The muscle-head of the team. His strong determination and passion towards victory makes him a winner. He's a pro at boxing and knows martial arts too. That unique personality of his, which is "To the Extreme", makes him somewhat admirable and adorable. He never gives up and he earned my respect through just that. In a way, he's one of the most reliable characters in the anime. Although he might be a little stupid, he's still cool. Therefore, I give him 9/10.

♦ Chrome Dokuro - The only girl guardian. Her existence gives off a mysterious aura, true that, her quiet personality adds to the mystery. She is my favorite character, because I find her cool and mystical as well. She has a weak body, and only illusions can help her with that, for she has no longer a complete set of body organs. But that doesn't stop her from being strong, as a matter of fact, her abilities are powerful enough to make one not want to mess with her. I'm not going to be biased, so I give her 9/10.

♦ Lambo - The cutest baby in the whole series. He's a crybaby but never fails to make me laugh. I honestly think he's adorable and cute! But, sometimes he could be so selfish and causes a lot of trouble for the others. That's annoying. But still, his existence is unique, at the same time, gives off a comedic aura. With that, I give him 8.5/10.

The music is great, but not excellent. The bgms are also decent, so I think an 8/10 is enough for its music.



ANIMATION

At first, the drawing/animation is kinda crappy, but as the anime goes on, you'll see massive improvement. I enjoyed watching it the way it is, but I still think the animation is great, but not that great. Also, somehow, I feel like the drawings of other parts are rushed, that's why you'll think of it as cheap. BUT, only the little details, I find the whole animation thing great though. So, I give it a 9/10.

Quick Summary

Tsunayoshi Sawada isn't very popular. Not athletic, or very smart. He's called "Dame-Tsuna" or no-good Tsuna. So one day, his mother hires a tutor for him. He finds out his tutor is a baby who tells Tsuna he's going to be the 10th boss of the Vongola Famiglia. His tutor, Reborn, trains him to be the next mafia boss, along the way, Tsuna meets a bunch of friends who help him get stronger and together they form the Vongola Famiglia! Ironically, despite being in the mafia, they have yet to do something illegal. XD

Actual Review

Reborn is the best thing since sliced bread. If you haven't watched/read this series yet, your life must be pretty empty. Reborn will change your life forever... Well maybe not to that extreme, but I am completely in love with this series. This show is incredibly funny, it's not a typical shounen. You expect a main character who just godmods, being a prodigy, having some special ability, or something, but that's not Tsuna. Tsuna's one of the few main characters I like. Akira Amano, the creator, is a complete god. You should go worship her. All the characters in reborn are truly their own person, with their own personality and everything. Each with a unique background and attitude. Just like any long-term shounen, there's different plots. I can't explain all of them in the summary, but when you watch this series you'll understand.

I just realized I didn't talk about the dying will bullet at all. XD The dying will bullet basically makes a person jump out of their clothes and run around with fire on their head. Pretty shweet. This series is really popular, and full of awesomeness.

I command you to watch this series. It will improve the quality of your life, and to some who watch this, it could even spice up math class for you! Akira Amano is a complete god, and the manga is even better than the anime, but both are almost equal in awesomeness.

This series is your destiny. You must meet your destiny and fulfill the prophecy. You shall NOT regret watching this series.

Summary:
Tsunayoshi Sawada, a no-good boy, one day comes home, greeted by a little baby mafioso, Reborn, who apparently is his new home tutor. His job is to guide Tsuna into his role as the 10th Boss of the Vongola family, so the wish from the 9th. With the help of all his new friends and an array of special items such as the "Dying Will Bullet", he might just be able to do it.
Meeting new friends and fiends, become stronger, no one can stop Tsuna him, right?

Comment:
Well, were should I start. I saw some pictures from Reborn and heard from some people of it, but I wasnt really interested. Then, beginning of the month may, I watched the first episode and was really suprised. I started to watch all episodes 'til yesterday and now Im waiting for the next one. So, as you can think, it is really an amazing anime and I couldnt stop watching.
On the one hand it is really funny and stupid (like Tsuna in his underwear), but on the other hand it is thrilling and full of action. It is admirable how this young people can fight and their will to do something.
Sometimes there might be scenes you dont like, but well, it is always like this. For e.g. me, I don't like the love in animes and mangas, just like here. It really annoys me, but I think it is funny too.
But therefore I even like the scenes with the gloomy Hibari and animals.
The characters, the music and storyline do all fit together .... depending on all points maybe thats the reason why now, after not even one month, it is my favorite anime next to Prince of Tennis.
I think, if you really love to laugh, especially about silly things, like a boy in his underwear going through the city, young boys fighting against stronger ones and giving their best and a mafia family which grows together, then you should watch Katekyō Hitman Reborn!

Heres the main part of the storyline^^:
The 9th generation Sicilian Mafia boss of the Vangola Family has decided to send his best hitman to help train his chosen successor. Sawada Tsunayoshi, a very ordinary middle school student, whose nickname is ‘No Good Tsuna’, finds himself stuck with a very unusual tutor with some strange abilities intent on helping him improve his standing at school and become an outstanding Mafia boss.

My thoughts ^^:
Sawada Tsunayoshi, people call em' tsuna in the anime ^^. The story around his life is really good but there are some parts of the storyline that may bore you a little, but most of the part it is exellent!~. The Music, Characters and animation are really good too. The Characters always seem to make the story line a litle funnier ^^. The music fits perfectly with the current situations and other parts of it. Overall i think this anime is really good~ btw- one of my favorite ones :P

Daily Life Arc

The plot of the early chapters (Daily Life Arc), is that an infant named Reborn comes to tutor No-Good (Viz:Hapless) Tsuna (Dame-Tsuna) to become the 10th generation Boss of the most powerful Mafia Famiglia in the world, the Vongola Famiglia. Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet (Viz:Deathperation Bullet) which remove internal limiters and give Tsuna the "Dying Will" strength to accomplish what he regretted before he "died". The first volumes are episodic chronicles of the different instances that happen after Reborn appears in Tsuna's life, and most are comedic in nature. Tsuna gains more friends, more confidence, and his life all-around improves.


Kokuyo arc


At the near-beginning of volume 8 through the first chapter of volume 10, prison escapees escape from a top-security Mafia prison and are on the loose in Namimori. This is where the plot changes from comedic to a more action-oriented story, as students from Tsuna's middle school are being attacked. Reborn receives orders from the the Ninth Vongola Boss that Tsuna was ordered to defeat them. Tsuna and his Family confront the Prison escapees and win the battle with them. Three of them turn out to be Mukuro Rokudo and two of his friends, who were formerly a part of the destroyed Estraneo Famiglia. At the end, the escapees are taken away by the Vindice.



Varia arc


In this arc, Tsuna and two of his friends meet Basil, a boy about Tsuna's age who is fighting with a Varia member over the Half Vongola Rings that Basil had in his possession. The Varia member gets away with the Rings, but they were revealed to be fakes. Reborn has the real ones, which were mailed to home. This sets into motion a series of 7 battles, each to determine who gets to possess one of the Rings that signify the true core members of Tsuna's 10th generation Vongola Famiglia. Tsuna and his Guardians versus the Xanxus-led Varia. After hard-fought battles, Tsuna and his Guardians emerge holding all seven Rings, making them all official 10th generation Guardians of the Vongola.




Future arc


In this Arc, Tsuna's Family is blasted 10 years into the future. They find out that the Millefiore Famiglia is trying to get rid of everyone with any ties to the Vongola Famiglia. Tsuna's Family at first gathers all of his core members, then they will launch an assault on the Millefiore's Merone Base, resulting in them picking up some new members. Tsuna and his Guardians are competing in an organized battle with Byakuran and his Six Funeral Wreaths, with the exception of Ghost, the Lightning Funeral Wreath. After the battle was over, with Tsuna's Family being the losers, Tsuna's Family run, but are forced once again into a battle with Byakuran and his Six Funeral Wreaths. After some Funeral Wreaths were defeated, Ghost arrives to the battle. Tsuna and his Family battle Ghost, but Tsuna interrupted them, defeated Ghost, and then battled Byakuran and won. After Byakuran lost, Tsuna and the members of his Family who went to the future return to the past.




Inheritance Ceremony Arc


The Inheritance Ceremony Arc follows right after the end of the Future Arc when Tsuna and his Family members who went to the future return to the past. After a while, Reborn receives a letter that announces that Tsuna's Family will inherit the reins of the Vongola Famiglia. They meet seven new transfer students from Shimon Middle School, who are part of a Mafia Famiglia called the Shimon Famiglia, who are invited to Tsuna's Inheritance Ceremony as guests. It later turn out that the Shimon Famiglia hates the Vongola and only came to obtain the Vongola Sin to restore their powers. During the battle at the Inheritance Ceremony, Enma breaks their Original Vongola Rings and the Shimon Famiglia leaves. Later when the broken Rings had been fixed and upgraded into the Vongola Gear by Talbot, which they soon find out that the Shimon had their own island as a base. Appearing at the island, where they meet the Shimon Famiglia; as well as an uninvited guest, the Vindice. The Vindice tells them that when one of the both Famiglia members loses, they will be locked up in the Vendicare Prison forever. During the battle, they found out that Daemon Spade, the first and second generation Vongola Mist Guardian, had manipulated the Shimon Famiglia with his lies to remodel Vongola to his taste. After Daemon's defeat, they found out why Daemon did all these things, as well as a peek into the Vongola and Shimon Primo's past. The Vindice, as a reward for defeating Daemon,

released all of the Shimon and Vongola members that were locked up in the Vendicare Prison.

The Curse of the Rainbow Arc


During this arc, it briefly details the Varia's quest to recruit Flan, whom was a Varia member in the future. Meanwhile, the Arcobaleno all participate in a dream, where the man with an iron hat that was responsible for bringing the Arcobaleno together as the world's strongest "I Prescelti Sette" (Selective Seven) propose to them a deal where all Arcobaleno participate in a battle, the winning Arcobaleno getting their Arcobaleno curse freed from them. The Arcobaleno, in a rush to prepare for the battle, all find their respective representatives, and their representatives commence fighting in the Representative Battle of the Rainbow, a battle royale

This anime is my favorite anime ever. It has great characters and a great plot. The only thing about the storyline is that in the beginning, it was slow, random, and a little bit strange. I almost stopped watching because of that. I really love the openings and endings in REBORN!. They are very catchy and the are really nice too, although they could be better. The characters are well developed, funny, unique, and makes you want to continue watching. The animation was realistic and artistic. Although sometimes, I think Hibari looks a little weird. Overall, this is an excellent anime that I recommend to everyone. Just try not to be too disappointed when you get to the end!

This is my all time favorite anime series. At first I had my doubts because of the slow start. (The first 19 episodes are basically all about getting to know the characters) But I couldn't keep my eyes away when everything started to roll. I love everything about this anime, the story line, the characters, and the animation! I wish that the series will continue soon! I truly recommend you watch this series and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!

BORED>>
I got really bored one day because i had finally caught up on watching naruto that i was looking for something new to watch that i had never heard of or seen so i came across this and started watching a couple of episodes and i kinda liked it then i got more and more into it and it got pretty good the only thing i didn't like is how the story line was like the same in every episode just with a different setting and characters but i love how they would train and the story line in all is pretty funny and cool.
Just watch and see if you like it.
