  • It was good, would recommend
If you're looking for a shorter anime that has a good story and has a lot of action in it then you'll like this one. The characters are interesting to watch because they each have their own backstories and assassination techniques. The episodes never get too dull or feel dragged out.

    Don't waste your time.
I've watched some stupid shows, but this one takes the cake. The story made no sense. The chemistry between characters is not that great. Plus the music and animation is sub-par.

If you start it, you will have to finish all twelve episodes, so do yourself a favor and just don't.

    Riddle Story of Yuri
This show is so bad, and yet so awesome. The first thing you have to accept about it is that everyone is a psychopath. Some of the characters are more psychotic than others, but ultimately, they are all insane. They are all idiots, too.
The best part of this show is watching Haru (That's the target girl's name) do her best to survive the onslaught of the other assassins. Tokaku, her ...

  • A very good action anime
I really enjoyed this show. The characters were believable and the story was captivating. I really liked how each ending credits scene was different and focused on one of the characters. The plot was a little bit predictable, but there were some twists that kept it interesting--especially at the end. Overall, I would say this show is definitely worth watching, or in my case, re-watching!

  • Great story, great characters and a ton of bad ass scenes!
    Great series!
You get what you expect. A bunch of assassins with a target and only one person to defend the target. They dive into the different characters, some more than others, to explain what got them to this point and why they are acting as they are.
I love the main characters, but I have a soft spot for the damsel in distress and the "tough on the outside, soft on the ...

    Unbearable stupidity
11 incompetent assassins try to kill a girl who is too stupid to live while a marginally less inept assassin protects her. Each murder attempt is more unnecessarily convoluted than the last yet still they come ever closer to killing the lemming of a main character. Around episode 6 I realized I was rooting for the assassins, but by episode 8 I wanted them to die too. Needless to say I gave up ...

    adventure trip that gets emotional
Comment 1: holy s**t. Comment 2: da fuq?
If you want a suspenseful, emotionally charged show, this is a good choice.
The plot is pretty clear as stated in the show summary. I wasn't expecting (although I should have) that the assassins (a.k.a., "bad guys") would end up having their own character development as being damaged individuals that the viewer ends up caring about (at least a little) in ...

Spellbinding & A Definite Must Watch
This anime started off with twelve assassins and one target, all thirteen characters had separate personalities and back stories that made for an interesting watch. There was great character development and so many great and unexpected plot twists that it made what could've been an average anime into an amazing one. I found that throughout the anime I simply couldn't wait to get to the next ...

I liked it, but it was missing something
Let me start by saying an article in Otakuusa convinced me to watch this series. I don't know, it's like it has everything I could want in an anime and yet it still left me wanting. It's devoid of the anime cliches I dislike (save the high school setting but I won't knock it for that). It lacks many cliches others tend to dislike, fan service and no strong female characters. I like the premise, ...

    Worth watching. Better than expected.
Yes, this show has some flaws, some weak points, some lazy writing, and way too much creepy fan service. But it turns out it's also entertaining, sometimes suspenseful, clever, and compelling, so much so that I'm giving it five stars despite the shortcomings I mentioned at the top.

The main characters have enough depth and unique traits to keep them from being the same old tomboy/girly-girl ...
