The drama is fantastic for the first few episodes. It's action packed and the dialogue quick and witty. Somewhere in the middle the show switches gears and goes from an action comedy to a light crime drama heavy on the dialogue and low in action. It was like the powers behind the scenes realized they couldn't keep up the pace. The story itself was interesting with weak points here and there. ...
The drama is fantastic for the first few episodes. It's action packed and the dialogue quick and witty. Somewhere in the middle the show switches gears and goes from an action comedy to a light crime drama heavy on the dialogue and low in action. It was like the powers behind the scenes realized they couldn't keep up the pace. The story itself was interesting with weak points here and there. Through it all the acting remained strong enough even if one of the leads is in dire need of lessons. Also some characters were tough to take. The character of Ji Ni was completely unlikable, especially for a lead. She was bitter, unyieldingly difficult, and not the type of character you'd ever want to see again. I watched this with friends and we admitted we wanted her to die. How often is it that you wish for the death of one of the leads in a drama? Exactly.
