Hands down the greatest shonen series of all time!
The renowned classic from Weekly Shonen Jump that we all grew up with on Toonami is finally on Crunchyroll! If you haven't ever seen this series then you sir have been living under a rock! Rurouni Kenshin is brilliant! Now watch it!

Just be sure to keep in mind that after episode 62, the end of the Kyoto arc, the rest of the series is filler. It was intended to give the original manga more time ...

    Definitely a 5 star anime
This is a classic anime with a nice progression and different episodes dedicated just to character development. You never really know just how powerful kenshin is until towards the end. It's been a while but I have seen this series 3 times and I am about to jump in for my fourth! Really, watch this anime and you won't regret it.

    The reason I study Iaido
This series is what got me into Iaido. The more I watched it, the more I wanted to learn swordsmanship. I checked out a local Kendo dojo, and was unimpressed. Then I found a Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu dojo, and found something for life. I'm unable to attend class currently as I'm a full time single dad, but I still pick up my sword and swing it when I can. This series has the right mixture of ...

    Must Watch, Great Anime
    Oldie but goodie.
Story: Good story line, nice buildup, the music fits perfectly. Only complaint is the lack of a final conclusion.

Characters: Nice character development for the most part, I wish there were more individual focused episodes, but its decent.

definitely should watch trust and betrayal after watching episodes 1-63. Have fun and enjoy

    The Golden Age Samurai Classic
A golden age anime epic that stands the test of time. Now having spawned a live action movie trilogy it's as popular as ever! It even had a remaster of it done with new voice actors which imo is inferior. In any case I advise to watch up to the Shishio arc ending at episode 62 and continue to read the manga because everything after is non-canon filler. Also I recommend watching OVA: Trust and ...

This is the series that got me hooked on anime.
I rented this series from a local anime shop back when it was only on VHS with subtitles. It is the only series I have ever watched repeatedly sharing it with friends. It still remains my favorite. The characters are all very well developed and it moves at a steady pace keeping you interested.

When I was a kid, I loved this show, until it disappeered!
I watched Tsunami. I loved Big O, inuyasha, dragon ball, gundam.... But this series (I feel) left before it finished. So I lived life, until I started anime. Then out of nowhere, I had an urge to watch this show. So I looked it up and now here I am, watching it everyday before work. Amazing show, great artwork, voicing. One of my favorite dubbed over animes of all time... Recommend to all.

    One of the Classics!
This is definitely on of the oldies that I used to watch on Toonami on the Saturday blocks.
Allow it is a fairly long anime and some episodes are a little bit of a drag. Overall I loved this anime it was: funny, sad, serious, and had the man slayer kicking a lot of butt.

What is funny is that I find myself getting attached to the love story development of characters, i.e. Kenshin and Ms. ...

amazing anime that still holds up.
i believe my title says it all. it desereves 5 stars. i think this would be a good series to remake like dragonball or hunter x hunter. I am trying very hard to not give away and facts about the show but they keep wanting me to write more and more. So my final review is check it out. you'll be happy you did.

    A must see classic anime!
One of the classics that started it all for me, anime at its finest!
In addition to this TV anime series, there are also 2 full length anime films and a live action film (released recently) of Kenshin to enjoy as well!
