Experience and Dedication at it's Finest
I'll make this review short. If you're new to CG anime, then this is the series to start with.

With years to perfect his craft, Monty Oum has taken his once hobby of lining up fights between the female cast of Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive and channeling it through a mini-series of his own design. With extra help and some epic looking capture technology, not only did his show become a ...

    Best Web Series Anime Ever!
Monty Oum (Creator) is known for his action packed CG work and this is no exception. Note this series is a WEB series meaning episodes are supposed to be short. Each episode is split in half to keep content rolling. Even I know this, but I'm still bugged by it nonetheless it's a good series so far (Wished each episode was atleast 8-10min). RoosterTeeth has many other series to work with ...

Awesome, awsome in heretofore unknown ways
This series excels at thinking outside the box like anime, but does not fall into the kind of crappy box we all know and put up with in Japanese animation.

You don't know how much your are missing idiomatic english and dialog until you see a proper anime with it. I am really interested in future products from this team because I feel there is unexplored territory.

    It's just not an anime
I understand this is an anime-styled web series produced by Americans, and it would do well on YouTube and other sites where amateur content is expected and accepted. But putting this up with high quality Japanese professional anime just makes it all the more painful to watch. The animation is frankly something I can knock out myself using poser. The footsteps are awkward and the lip sync is off. ...

Breaking Down The Barriers Of What Is "Anime"
I'm writing to have a decent platform to get my opinion out. That is, what constitutes an anime? I believe it's the style and intent. Your show doesn't have to be from Japan to be considered an anime, and Crunchyroll is doing it's part to legitimize that theory. Now, I know the short length and odd episode cuts is not something that's easy to get used to but, there's a lot beneath the surface of ...

    RWBY is pretty awesome
At first I thought these were cut scenes for a game but an animation? Okay I understand some voice actors here needs a little bit of work but it's still good and awesome the fact that you can tell who is voice acting from roosterteeth. As the series go on the characters voice acting gets better so as it continues it's going to get better and better. I say the animation is well done and they have a ...

    Disappointing at best.
Having seen Monty Oum's previous work, I find myself disappointed with the quality of his newest creation. The animation quality leaves much to be desired, it would be ok for an amateur's creation but not for a professional work. The character models themselves are the same as the animation, alright but nothing impressive. The story is cliched and uninteresting at first glance, as are the ...

From the intrnet comes the next genoration of anime done, well as exelents as you could expect!
RWBY is a low budget, small production 3D anime from Texas USA, made by Rooster Teeth, and it shows.

The main disadvantageous of this anime/cartoon is that unlike main anime/cartoon companies in the USA and Japan, they just don't have the man power, or money to give use the quality we all expect, even the voice acting comes strat from Rooster Teeth, so no big names, well other then "Jen ...

    All the Essentials .
RWBY is not about the definition of anime per se, but an encouragement to the artform we have been watching for years from an American perspective. The episodes are a mix of light hearted fun, likeable characters, and a little bit of genius for the fight sequences. The story follows four girls at a boarding school that specializes in the training of cutting edge warriors that protect society from ...
