  • Make you realize you have a moral compass
This anime takes into depth the human mind and how some thought process works. It also shows some more atrocities in the sense that there is a global war going on and that the line between good and evil so to speak is blurred. This show also shows the side of how a human resists the will of a god-like being by denying it and defending the right of free will and thinking. Show is overall excellent ...

  • Forgive me God, For I Love Evil
    Contains little spoilers
So, I definitely love this anime. Tanya is a cold, logical, and overall amazing character. I love when she makes the salary man reference when she has to fight hard, because it's what she used to be. You already know this, but I just can't help but giggle the two or three times she says it. This anime is wonderfully designed, and I love the animation that goes into it ...

  • Saga of Tanya the Evil
Truly loved the series through and through. unfortunately, though I was hoping for more episodes/series to come, it was mainly because of how great the series was for me and I hope more anime like this come out and I hope that this series gets a new season.

  • Not Quite Genre Breaking, But Very Close
From the expertly executed scene transitions, to the strong storytelling, and well developed characters, this anime shines in nearly every way imaginable. The way the faces (in particular the mouths and eyes) were drawn was off putting to me as they feel exaggerated and gross, but I feel this was the point. It suits the storytelling in a way that feels oddly natural after a few episodes. The main ...

  • The review of a bystander
History, technological advancement, and true bloody cruel world lead by a wrathful god who deserves nothing more than to be taken of his throne of arrogance. My thoughts. this is the type of show that puts all of my loves together... enough said. Though i have to say most people will be able to relate to just how screwed over the main character is, but this is a pretty gruesome story... so its not ...

It they don't pull a "breaking bad"
This will be one of the best animes of the decade*. The audio alone is absolutely amazing and visceral.
The story doesn't pull punches like a lot of shows out there, but they aren't over the top "edgy" etc. either. It also avoids standard morality (good vs evil) all together, focusing instead on extreme pragmatism. Unlike most anime/tv shows that focus on making a character "interesting" largely ...

  • Tanys is a billy-badass
This was an outstanding anime. If you have ever screamed wrathful ideology at the heavens, you will understand Tanya. She can be a little rough but that makes sense when you're basically a ball of yarn and your god is a cat. IMHO- Tanya did nothing wrong. However, be the judge of that yourself and prepare your anus for explosions and rage-fueled vengeance from a little girl.

  • A fun watch with a couple of interesting concepts
To explain the setting a little better, its a little like World War 1.5, Leaning closer to World War 1 but with advanced technology and magic. And with magic we get the concept of the show. The action was also well choreographed and it the show looked good when it wasn't 3-D, but even sometimes it was alright with it. In the character department, it kind of lacks, with likable characters being ...

    different perspective!
For my personal opinion, this anime is a masterpiece, something that needs to be seen by, almost, everyone.
The story is revolutionary, looking at the latest anime (also if it was written in 2013). It deals with and discuss really delicate topics, like religion and war, with a perspective different from the usual one, even making fun of them. a perspective only a few see from.
    The main character ...

    Best war and action anime
Youjo Senki is an anime of magic and modern warfare sprinkled loosely with a little bit of modified 20th century history from an alternate world, mixed together with an overpowered MC to bring you the ultimate in animated explosions. Enjoy the amazing visuals and dark humor while you follow along with Tanya as she destroys her enemies and fights against destiny and God himself.
