    Don't waste your time...
I've followed the original Saint Seiya until the end, then I went on and read the manga, then I watched Lost Canvas, so I have my experience with this franchise.
I didn't have very high expectations about this show, but even then this is a complete disappointment; the story makes absolutely no sense, the main evil guy is called Mars (it is supposed to be called ARES, this IS NOT Roman mythology), ...

    Athena's Next Generation Has Arrived
First of all I am a huge fan of the originally Saint Seiya anime and manga it really received the exposure it deserved in the U.S, which truely is a travesty. This franchise is full a lot of depth and for the most part continuity that connects 2 realities. Seiya(Pegasus Saiya) as all fans of the franchise know is a saint(a warrior who fights to protect Athena and the world from evil with the super ...

where do you go from here
Its seems to me that the storyline isn't perfect but i will continue to watch this kid grow and get past whatever is holding him back from decimating the gold saints but when and if he wins to save earth where does the story go back to where they first came from who knows.

Give it a try it won't dissapoint.
Haven't watched the original but so far it's really amazing series. It kinda reminds me of Sailor Moon in a way with the transformations and the different elements.I'm trying to find to watch the original one but no luck yet.

    Great Season!!!!!!!!
I didn't think that this would be any good because the original characters are gone. I was wrong because once I started seeing this series it caught me in a flash, and the new saints are great like the old saints.

Not exactly Saint Seiya....but still a lot of fun
This show feels very different to the original Saint Seiya. It is lighter in many ways: animation, comedy, story line, character design, etc. And unlike the original heroes, these characters have motivations different from only protecting Athena (in fact, most of them don't even know her in person...she is only a concept). As stated in another review, this show is different, but still a lot of ...

    different but still wonderful
I started off skeptical and had a hard time with the first episode and all the changes but the characters are constantly developing and pulling me into the story plot. Yes it varies greatly from the saint seiya many of us loved but it has it's own unique appeal that has drawn me into waiting for every new episode.

    Just stick with the original
Although I understand that the story happens in an "alternate universe", I cannot recommend this anime to fans of Kurumada's masterpiece. It just feels like Omega has nothing to do with the original series from the addition of the elements to the name of the antagonist Mars( who should have at least have been called Ares since Mars is its Roman name). The story makes no sense since no one knows ...
