I was thinking along the same lines as brl777. To me, it seems like they cut corners and used lots of old tricks to save on animation costs, but it has a nice feel to it and definitely has potential. I'll have to check out the remake.

Fight scenes and fast moving scenes are lame, but the over all story line is good. I especially like the monkey boys possitive outlook and spunk.

well they are originally made with subs but when u dubbs then it loses the originallity and it may be more funnier but well is not the same this rocks

@AMaze13 I personally don't have anything against dubs, but I'm watching this for the seiyuu first. I hear the dub's pretty fun, though; some jokes have been added in (hopefully in places where the original meaning doesn't matter too much).

no when they dubb an anime it kinda looses its origianlity...its better to watch how its origanaly made..kinda like when we watch and english funny show and when they put it in spanish it kinda looses its funniness

I so wish that the anime community didn't seem to have issues with english. So hard to find dubs even tho this one definitely has premade dubbed eps as you can see from the credits. but, can u find them? rarely, if ever.
