By flashback, I mean the Kougaiji scenes, not Sanzo's actual flashback. The explanation for why Kougaiji is searching for the other scrolls.

Is this a flash back? It's out of sequence. I should be before episode 20. For those who can't wait, Goku's back story is chronicled in the short Manga Saiyuki Gaiden.

I'm way excited to find out about Tenpou, Kenren and Konzen, and Goku's crime. It's amazing how intense their backstories are.

I really liked that episode. I wonder what Goku's crime was? In any case, the bond between him and Sanzo is very strong.
