Maybe I'm biased, but I think I like the old opening song better. Feeling neutral about the closing song. I like the new animations though.

If Homura-tachi are gods and abhor demons, why take away Sanzo's Maten, which he'll need to put down Gyuumaoh? I hope we get to see more of Sanzo-ikkou's past lives in Heaven. Also what's the deal with Nataku? Is he comatose or something?

Awesome new opening, although don't the coordinated outfits make them seem slightly "boy band"-ish? Absolutely love the new ending theme. Something terribly nostalgic about it; I think it's the same singer who does "Open Up Your Mind" also?
