Myki52, because gods must age slowly. Look at Homura, unless I'm misunderstanding he's half-god half-human and he didn't age at all in 500 years. Even though they also mentioned HIS life span was short.

I don't think the author did a great job. First Gods are like high rich people, demon are like criminals, and finally normal people are us who keep getting fucked in life. If that is his point Gods are bored same as rich people they r bored

This is confusing. Zenon had already lost Mirei > 500 years ago. ( He had the patch in the Goku flashbabk and talked to Homura about understanding his loss because of his own loss of Mirei). So why would his son still be a child?

Well THAT was depressing. So Zenon is actually a really nice guy, he's just hanging out with that jerk Homura. But jeez, everyone freaking dies in the end, that's really sad.
