Synopsis
The story follows a boy named Akiyuki who is heading to school with two friends when an explosion occurs. In the mysterious light from the explosion, Akiyuki transforms into a creature called Xam'd. Xam'd goes on a rampage which is only stopped when a red-haired foreign girl appears.

    Odd.Nothing I can find even remotely mentions Aniplex, so I don't know they'd be listed as a license holder.Apparently they're owned by Sony, and given the PSN distribution, Sony might have those rights, so who bloody knows?Nothing official

    I cant find any outside evidence, but on wikipedia it says that its licensed by Aniplex and Sony. Once again about the subs. They are already hard coded in. So the wait for episodes has nothing to do with subbing.
