Summary
Spinster sisters Lilia and Trining adopted three children – Ito (Diether Ocampo), Joven (Jericho Rosales) and Pilar (Claudine Barretto). They are the picture of a happy family until Joven and Pilar announce that they are getting married. The two women are shocked. It doesn't matter to them that Joven and Pilar are not blood siblings. For them, the relationship of Joven and Pilar is forbidden.

Filled with jealousy, Ito gets his revenge by violating Pilar. When Joven learns what happened to his beloved, a fight ensues between him and Ito.

Pilar rushes to the cliff where the fight is and sees a bloodied Ito standing near the edge. Ito starts to taunt and hurt Pilar. In self-defense, she pushes him off the cliff.

Moments later, Joven is standing by Pilar's side. He tells her that Ito is dead.

Lilia and Trining are relieved to see Pilar safe. Trining is sympathetic to Pilar's plight, but Lilia is more concerned with Ito. She believes that Ito is still alive and will return home to seek their forgiveness.

Suddenly, strange things begin to happen. Someone is stalking the house… Secrets are revealed…

But love conquers all evil. Because of what happened, the family learns to let go of their hatred and forgive each other... even those who have left their side a long time ago.
