  • Slice-of-life at its best
Plenty of laughs throughout the series and the ending was surprisingly satisfying for a short anime. This anime was produced by A-1 Pictures, the same studio that produced Wagnaria!!, so the style is similar. If you liked one of them, chances are you will like the other too!

  • Crazy and Clever Comedy
Not to mention great character development! I tip my hat to the writers. I expected comedy and gags, some chuckles, but I never expected to fall in love with this series. There were some lulls for me, but overall this series is great! I'm actually glad it's short because I think it's complete and spreading it out any more would possibly ruin it.

  • Unexpected enjoyable!
Coming into watching this show I thought it would be a nice way to kill some time, but luckily for me it was so much more than that. I really enjoyed all of the daily work interactions between all of the characters, especially those between Lucy and Hasabe. They were unbelievably cute together, and I liked the slow and well thought out development the series gave them. Everyone is wonderful in ...

  • Lots of fun and laughter in this anime. Worth your time!
I've just recently started getting into slice of life anime, originally avoiding them because I thought they seemed slow and dull. This is definitely not the case with Servant x Service. I found this gem after watching Working!!, another amazing slice of life created by the same people. This anime has a wonderful cast of characters and constantly made me laugh with each episode. The comedy was the ...

  • Must...Type...Review...But...Short...On...Breath...From...Nonstop...Laughter...
OH MAN THIS ANIME. It's just perfect. Great laughs, great characters, interesting setting (it's set in the workplace in case you guys didn't know from the anime's blurb). It's so funny and I HIGHLY recommend it to anybody who just needs a good laugh. It has no real plot for the most part, but that's the beautiful part. It doesn't try to force one. It looks at itself and says, "Let's just have fun ...

Find a place to slack off and enjoy this anime
Servant x Service perfectly encompasses the premise of what slice of life should be. It follows the lives of a group of civil servants, who despite having chosen a mundane occupation, live pretty crazy lives. You watch the lives of clueless and shy Lucy, lazy but kind hearted Hasebe, the cutesy Miyoshi-san, the outspoken cosplayer Chihaya, the overly nice Ichimiya, and of course the section ...

  • Hilarious, bright, and easy to pick up
The OP and ED are both light and colorful! I could listen to them on loop! They give you a sense of just what this anime is about: the craziness of work, yet still maintaining a light tone and a dash of humor. Every character is likable and unique, and they all get screen time to interact with each other. Plus there's a good amount of plot for it being slice of life!

  • Anything can happen in civil service
This show was really odd. Someone recommended it to me cause they liked Wagnaria! I watched one episode of that show and was bored.

The theme song is very catchy, the characters were different and funny in their own ways. The ending was a bit rushed as all animes usually are. I don't think they could really warrant another season after watching this. I think they did a nice job of tying the ...

  • More Plot Driven than Expected
Found this under the Slice of Life tag and went in without any prior knowledge. Here you'll find the usual tropes with some satisfying twists. The main characters all have some sort of plot-driving flaw (insecurity and fear of standing out being the most common one) which hurtles the story through romantic (heavy with the portent of failure) entanglements, which makes this more structured than ...
