  • I Wish My Job Was This Much Fun
One of the many reasons why I love anime is that it is a form of entertainment that can take the most seemingly mundane activity and turn it into something fun and exciting. The plot of Servant x Service, a story about a group of adults working as civil servants, sounds boring, yet its ability to effectively combine comedic and romantic elements makes it anything but, for the most part.

    The ...

  • You should watch this
Really funny slice of life about work rather than school. Great characters and fun situations. Great if you like slice of life style comedy but want to break away from the high school setting. All the characters are varying yet have some real aspects to them that makes the situations that much better.

  • The Office but more cheerful
I found myself pleasantly surprised by this series, considering that I usually shy away from office dramas / comedies as they too often focus on the dog-eat-dog viciousness of the white-collar workplace. This is a humorous and light-hearted romance story with the potential to appeal even to those who aren't fans of slice-of-life shows. The characters are endearing and have their own specific, ...

  • This Show Proves Any Topic Can Be Interesting and Hilarious!
Slice of life anime about...government employees working in welfare. Sounds boring? Well, before Segata Sanshiro Falcon Paunches you in a random kidney, let me tantalize you with our cast:
One character is out for revenge on the civil servant that approved her absurdly long Jugemu name.
One character is your token slacker who...oddly enough knows exactly how to act to defuse nearly any ...

    The Office - Anime Style
I was in an utter state of depression when Working!! concluded for me. However, my friend introduced me to this anime, and it was as if I was watching Working!! again. Imagine the hit comedy series "The Office" in an anime-induced style, and this is what it would be.

  • Different feeling!!!
In all my anime/manga life,it's mostly filled with high school genres. Then this came along.I'm so glad I watched this,I got out of my "comfort zone" and tried something new. This shows you a regular life not of high schoolers but adults!! Packed with slice of life and comedy(with a bit of romance). If you want to try something new and not in your "comfort zone" than I recommend this anime.

  • Funny, lovable, and everything you want from a slice of life anime!
This is slice-of-life at it's best! Every character is funny and engaging. Art work is good and the music is really catchy. This is a REALLY well written anime, you become very invested in each character as the story progresses. The ending was satisfying while leaving you hoping for a second season, which isn't an easy thing to pull off. I'd be willing to get this on bluray/dvd if it came out ...

  • Servant x Service: A great comedy
You may have been put off by Servant x Service's premise: a comedy/slice of life show following the daily lives of civil servants. As anyone who has been to the DMV can attest, civil servants aren't the most lively bunch (no offense civil servants). Rest assured that Servant x Service is not the anime equivalent of getting your license renewed.

Many people, including myself, will compare ...

  • Surprisingly Awesome
I feel like it's hit-or-miss with the "Slice of Life" anime genre. This one is definitely a hit! -- you can't help but love Lucy's character! Not to mention it has a great opening/ending theme songs/art. I love the dynamic personalities and relationships of all the co-workers and I'm looking forward to re-watching it.
